Actually Hitler came into power purely by methods of political maneuvering that would have been squashed in the US. For many years he had people go out to the small rural villages which made up the majority of the German population and spread FUD through public speakers and marches. The Nazi party also possessed a sizable militia which had attempted a coup that landed Hitler in jail. A lot of the finding for the Nazi party came from Goering who funneled it off of money from the German military. Eventually the Nazi party won a majority of seats in Parliament and President Hindenburg was obligated to appoint Hitler as Chancellor. When Hindenburg passed away, Hitler then was able to take full control.
It's complicated in the US. Each state makes their own rules. In some places the age of consent is 16, in others it's 18, and in some, there are bizarre rules the age of consent is 18, with an exception for 16 and 17 where the other partner has no more than 2 years in age difference and is also not younger than 16.
I think 13 would be appropriate. 12 could also be appropriate, but 13 is "safe". Once a person is into puberty, it's not pedophilia clinically speaking. What is usually lacking in people that young is the wisdom to know when they're being taken advantage of. But even adults get this wrong.
What if USB ports disappear like PS/2, Centronics, and serial connections have disappeared?
This is a non-issue as you have described it. I just built a brand new computer 5 months ago. I was not interested in any of those items listed, yet it has a parallel port, a serial port, and two PS/2 ports. It's actually unfortunate that they don't make a RS-232 flash drive because the serial port is not going anywhere for a very long time. You might need to purchase a special card in the future to have it, but it is far too convenient and easy for use with industrial controls to ever die out.
Why would XXY be a problem? We already know that a lot of convicted criminals are XYY. Are such people too much man for men's sports? XXY should be viewed with the same shrugged shoulders. There will always be people in sports with genetic advantages (like height).
I also feel that sedition should have been used against US citizens who went to Afghanistan to fight against US forces, rather than creating some damnfool "illegal combatant" laws to cover them.
Why not just charge them with assault, attempted murder, murder, aiding and abetting, etc?
I've seen this before between a medical device manufacturer and the FDA. The manufacturer sued the FDA over some rules they made up and won in court. The FDA responded by sending their most detail oriented auditor they had and cited them on violation after violation until the company went out of business from the cost of dealing with it. I don't know if the FCC has that level of authority over the industries they regulate, but I would not be surprised to see a similar reaction.
If you're suggesting that it's okay to follow around and stalk public officials when they are not on duty, then I really can't argue with that. I can only hope someone does the same to you someday.
She is not a watch-dog. She likes these guys a lot. A little too much perhaps. I've pointed this out in several comments now. Go read her blog. And I mean read at least the last two pages worth of posts. It's fine if you think that the cops are weird, creepy, and threatening. But that is not the issue here. She is not monitoring the Drug Task Force to defend freedom. The amount of criticism of the police in her blog is little to none. She's doing it because it excites her. And from the sounds of it, it excites her in a very special way.
Fair enough. It's simplification of a slightly more complex system so that the general public "gets it". It is a somewhat accurate generalization that for the most part, yes, all excess calories should get stored in fat by way of insulin released by the pancreas. It is very bad for your kidneys to filter out sugar. Excess calories generally go four different places based on a variety of factors. They are either never absorbed and are excreted with your feces (a very small portion as our digestive system is very efficient), excreted in urine, stored in fat, and stored in muscle. The major players here are fat and insulin. A normal system will store almost all excess un-metabolized calories in fat by releasing insulin into the body. Muscles hold a certain small amount of reserve and very very little should be filtered out by the kidneys. In fact, diabetics often suffer from renal failure due to prolonged stress on the kidneys from excreting too much sugar (the urine can actually taste sweet, so say the doctors from long ago). Ultimately there are two major things to consider. Calories in, and metabolism. There is no one proper calorie intake for a given sized person because the metabolism will vary based on how much you have been eating, how physically active you are, and some genetic variation. If I recall correctly, there is a direct correlation between oxygen consumption rate (which can be measured) and metabolic rate.
Unless you've figured out how to defy the laws of thermodynamics, energy in == energy out applies. Period. Every calorie you consume must go somewhere and every ounce of fat you have must come from a calorie you consumed.
The problem with extra weight (depending on where you're starting off) is that it's hard on the joints of your body and the extra effort to do anything makes you less likely to get up and move around. I would advise against wearing weights unless it's part of a controlled training program.
Read her freaking blog. This whole situation has nothing to do with monitoring the activity of police for the sake of protecting citizen rights. She just has a fetish for these police and is genuinely interested in their tactics. There's nothing wrong that per say. But when you start stalking, it just gets weird, creepy, and threatening.
Most government jobs do not require security clearance. For example, most jobs within the PTO, FDA, DOT, FCC, and FTC do not require security clearance. And to up the ante, I know that at least FDA auditors are badge carrying officers of the law, and I also know that they are not tracked in their personal lives.
I agree. I read a bit of this blog and she sounds down right creepy. I can't recall exactly what conditions must be met for stalking charges to be pressed, but she must at least be dangerously close to that point.
I am no expert in databases, so correct me if I am wrong. My understanding is that the only test of a natural key is that it's a unique integer.
Why would an account number not be unique for each record in question? Is there a case where someone else is going to have the same account number as me?! If there is, I think I should be told so that I know not to do business with you.
Why would they not be natural primary keys? They would never change until the record is destroyed, and they are anonymous integer identifiers. Why would you use a SSN to identify an account and access all related information when you have an account number? A single person could be forced to have only one account. If they need services in multiple locations, then you can add multiple services to their account.
Why would need a PK that does more than identify a record if you have a field that can be searched in that record that identifies the person? Moreover, why not just issue your own account numbers?

I beliebe that you can't copyright a character. However, The Joker is probably a registered Trademark of DC Comics. IANAL.
Unless sedition laws get passed again. President Adams would have you jailed for that image.
At least in the US, most of it is not recycled. Bio-hazardous waste is incinerated.
and cocaine

It does sound like the police did warn her on at least more than one occasion.

If you read her blog, you will see plenty of off-duty pictures and commentary about what they were up to and how much they turn her on.
What if your boss was following you around covertly taking pictures of you not only at work but in your private life?
