1.) Social Darwinism should be paramount here -- if they can't help themselves then no one can. 2.) Poor don't trust banks (come visit poor, mostly African American areas or Atlanta, there are check cashing businesses and western unions no more than a mile apart -- you don't see these anywhere but poor neighborhoods).
This is not a good business plan for any bank -- trying to squeeze money out of people that simply don't have any.
Look, a lot of people have an HDTV (except for myself, I do not own a TV, haven't for years). If the broadcasters don't pony up the dough to switch out their gear for a good signal, people will simply stop watching their crappy broadcast. Period. Those smaller productions who complain that they can't afford it will have a much harder time paying the bills because they have to compete with ABC/NBC/HBO/ESPN in HD.
Earlier this summer I managed to blow my privates off with an exploding battery, then installed a really aweful DRM rootkit.. My Playstation 3 is still on back order (however I am thinking of paying 2000$ on ebay for one now), and now I need to return my digital camera (I don't plan on getting it back soon).
B.O'Re. probably has a hard time double clicking. His concept of 'reality' and 'not reality' is his lack of seeing the dynamic of interpersonal/interbusiness relationships with technology. Hence we will not receive text messages or an email from Bill, ever (only the producers respond to emails -- they're not dealing with reality either). Antiquated ways of communicating are dead/dying and this is his way of making 'filler' news. I never watch his show because of his slated views and bashing of peoples opinions, not to mention it only shows a single (and often ignorant) opinion.
He's convinced that he will make GooTube fail, so he sinks money into an opportunity to that end. Would you do business with this man? You know what, he will probably end up making money on it - and his children can be known as the son of a loser that clings to the nipple of a reputable company.
Go back to school to take your senior design project(s). I didn't like school, never did. Struggled through all the prereq's for a CS degree, at the very end came two senior design courses. I learned more in those two courses than the rest of the theory they fill your brain with. Yes, the theory is important, and must be understood to pass courses like compiler design and os design (both of which I will leave to the professors, no true interest in the subjects). However I am one who really only identifies its importance with real world applications -- as such my business started while I was in my junior year, I was creating real life applcations, and when I got to the point when the class was on real life applications, a B- student led two very successful projects.
My advice to any CS student. Concentrate on real life applications. They will feed you theory, a lot of it. Don't focus on it. Unless you are shooting for the rank of "Professor".
Sounds to me like 21st century book burning. South Korea doesn't have the capabilities to destroy the collective knowledge of the internet, so they restrict its own population into ignorance and loss of impartial ideas. This is step #1 to mobilize minds under false pretense. There was another superpower who did this...

One can only blame slashdot for putting up fake news. This suggestion is a clear violation of constitutional rights.

I haven't been able to pee since I installed my new linksys. This solves it.
America rules the internet and domain names. Why do you think there are only latin chars? GO TEAM!
