I've been consistently modded as Troll or Offtopic, no matter WHAT I'm posting, constructive or not, since my ugly crapflood on the Bin Laden malware article. It would seem that most people are toe-ing the Obama / Bush / Cheney line.

I honestly thought Slashdot was full of doubting free-thinkers, but obviously I was wrong.

Ah, the old Bin Laden did it bullshit.

Maybe the PNAC and Cheney should have thought through the potential suffering BEFORE they outfitted military transports with rockets and flew them into the WTC and blaming it on OBL?

How dare you play that card, based on a lie. America are the true terrorists, and have been for at least 50 years.

Truth be known, I like the iPad hardware but hate absolutely everything else about it, and always hated Apple, so I suppose I'm biased anyway.

ps Pro Tools sucks, but each to their own, I like Cubase because it's intimidating at first, but once you get used to it, it's more efficient and flexible than the point-and-click competitors; think emacs... or, better example, modern electronic organ compared to (ugh) keyboards. The point being made in this discussion is that Apple encouraged developers to write the software and then changed the terms of the agreement.
