Having just journalists look at the files isn't good enough.
Give us plain text files of all the textual info so we can search ourselves.
Text is useful on any operating system windows apple linux you name it.
I would search emails by looking at the "subject:" line matches. This app can display 30 or more matches per page. Anything that interests me can be looked at in context. The matches can be extracted to a text file and sorted for a different look.
There will be many more leaks and this form of data release just doesn't cut it.
Marijuana, Colloidal Silver and baking soda can cure Cancer in the next room. Don't trust the medical establishment when fighting cancer. Cancer rates have grown and grown under their watch. Boo
I'm saying look at the 2 page flowchart of the print logic. That was the only tuff thing in doing a Search Engine. A search finds text and hi-lites it. First and formost. Then if the next line has a pic or video or song. Stand back and Look out. you are on your way with flowcharts.
One other time I needed a flowchart. We were making changes to a property management system to give it budgeting capabilities. The oiginal programmer (working at a different ministry) said "Don't touch that code" I charted it out and passed it by my supervisor. We tested it and it worked. I was the maintenance contractor after that...
Once I threw out a program I was struggling with and did a flowchart that evening. The next day the program ran first try. That doesn't happen often. By the time I decided to throw it out and start again, I knew the problem inside out.
Many years ago I worked on a forestry bridge crew. The camp cook made 6 or 8 pies a day. There were only 4 of us on the crew. He would put all the extra food in 5 gal buckets to feed his bears.
One day his favorite old black bear got in a big fight with a 4 or 5 year old Grizzly. Old Irish waded into the battle with a broom to break it up. Irish got a couple broken ribs from his fav bear.
Now if the FishCops had a guy like Irish working for them, he would build a trail of pies deeper and deeper into the bush to save those bears. But not so with the highly educated game wardens of today; their answer is to shoot them. Anything that takes away from their budget for jetboats atv's and the latest fancy truck is dealt with that way.
A similar story (from 5 or 6 years back) was the killing of 8 or 10 Moose (some with calfs) that wandered into town during a winter with more than usual snow. A couple cowboys with ropes and a large pen with a few bails would have saved those animals but NO a bullet is better and the FishCops know "best". That year a bullet ended up in a balcony after it passed through or missed the moose. They then started shooting them with marbles until they got the poor animal in a less public place to kill them. Most of these university trained biology students are afraid of wildlife. These guys and gals are chicken shit, scared what ever you want to call them. Protectors of wildlife they are not.
This issue is bound to be made in to a reality show. So beware FC's you will be demonized if you kill all these animals.
Maybe get a couple of those bear dogs to put the run on them if you can't find a pie man to lead them away to safety. Wildlife officials don't care about the wildlife if their answers are always Shoot Shoot.
My trapper friends would do a better job. They released cougar and wolf from their snares by putting a blanket over them then slipping their hand under to cut the cord with snips. These guys are brave. The cougar was a protected species and the wolf had hair rubbed off its back and was worthless. Boo FishCops boo.
Been searching flat files with this open source VB5 program since 1999. Searches flat files at 20,000,000 cps displaying hi-lited hits in matching lines only or full context mode. Results can be exported to a results file. Append txt files together. Search and replace option. Run multiple versions with various default settings. I have been yapping and yapping about flat files, only to get great amounts of resistance from the Geeks. The search uses lots of defaults and quick keys (for typists). From startup to shutdown nothing is faster. Channel9 and thedailyWTF.com have the best threads. Check it out. It's the only program you'll ever need

We need a site where we can get or search the data.

So far the leakers have piss poor job.
There will be a lot more and we need the ability to easily search...
What a pathetic group we get to vote for. Could you imagine any of the candidates being one of your circle of friends. Not Me.

The problem with politics is the process only allows for dishonest candidates.
They are there to outsource and sell off all our resources.
99% of candidates are corrupt and will never represent citizens.
Check out how many are Business types and Chamber of Commerce members (Way too many)
The corrupt political system makes it almost impossible for anyone honest to get on the ballot.
I never read them. They are the worst I have ever seen. On any site.
For simple things no flowchart is needed ever.

Talk to them about flowcharting:

When you have a nasty task, a simple flowchart can be a big help.
The above 2 charts are the flowchart for hi-liting TEXT search results.

I have a Desktop Search Engine. The Gurus just can't stand the code.
http://forums.thedailywtf.com/forums/thread/124349.aspx
It's the only program I need and I don't give a shit.
Desktop Search puts the non-technical citizens on equal footing with the Geekiest user.
