children pr0n is quite a delicate excuse to use for logging search queries and their originating IPs, isn't it?
If you scare enough, the public will allow you anything.-) (That sentence is SO old you gotta remind people *g*)
Well, thats true in fact (besides you can "hack" it down to use any g4) - but on the other hand, those new pieces of software wont run well on average G4s anyways - or to put it in other words:
In my opinion, you need a G5 (even the slowest imac 1.6 is fine) to have fun with them... (NOT saying the G4 is bad, its just my experience..)
From the one evening I have been sitting in front of an XBox360, it seemed to me that the Box itself is what is really heating up, not the (Delta Electronics) Power Supplay (16Amps @ 12Volts..)
All in all and with the exception of the DVD drive it seemed very solid manufacturing (though reports suggest its quality level is quite..uhm.. ?dynamic' )
Even when in the XBOX OS alone, it gets very hot meaning theres nothing like powersave or nap modes implemented..:D
I for one like it because of its sleak html code it generates as well as the solid coding base it has.
Sure, the features are not enough for some people, but it has never tried to be an entire website portal, just a very good blog software.
b2evo in my very personal eyes just cant match it - and there is probpaly no other blog soft that can be hooked up that quickly and troublefree. But this is again baed on my personal experience i have (since 0.7 i believe)
Its up to you by the way, to/. other blog soft if you think there are better ones;-)
Well, since there already have been leaked one or the other piece of MS code (reportedly, reportedly:p), we already know how it looks - so they actually should not be too much ashamed to release this one.
Besides, they could still remove some unpleasant things though i'd be happy to read funny comments:-D
>The study concluded that countries with high software piracy rates have more to gain economically by protecting intellectual property rights. (...)
Thats funny. They keep on trying to delude:)
(You take the more serious affected, and you work a study around those cases that shows how much benefit it would be to... blah)
{Same for the RIAA... DVD Sales worldwide are climbing very good, DESPITE the lack of a considerable number of good movies and DESPITE that apparent P2P piracy - but those facts wouldnt keep any spokesman or lawyeller from argueing}
I would try not to host it in the country the content comes from.
Freehosters might more easily be willing to block/erase the site, but you can stay anon (use google "(free | public) proxy" or so) and you can have mirrors etc.. bad thing is you'd have a #$*@low traffic limit and have to check if still up;-)
Note: I'd host about anything "controversal" (but qualitative of course) on my blah.anunnaki.cc site - dont have much Storage, but unlimited xfic
I have bought 2 mars properties back when hope started this...
Funny enough... uhm... well I NEVER thought it would by anything else than fun. I bought it for the stupid papers you get, with the constitution, the map with a cheap dirty color spot where your stuff suposedly is located:)
Its fun albeit a little an expensive one:D
But Mr. Hope signed the "Constitution" as : "The Omnipotent Ruler of the New Martian Surface" which, i believe, shows he's become insane a long time ago. Omnipotent... ruler... what was that with those that speak, dont know, and those that...:D
I guess we'd need at least a shot of the players internals, kind of the mainboard, so one can see what chips there are... I am sure theres a way to get to the signal - I am even more convinced you get your fingers on the signal without the watermark, but who knows (safety clause *g*)
The problem has already been discussed at length, that such protection "mechanisms" in practical use restrict the freedom of the legal customer. Excactly those that do not care about getting the latest movie online, those (contrary to me) that turn on their gadgets before (if at all *g*) they open them up.
But for guys like us (yeah how nice a generalization, no?), this will not keep us in the cave, it will make us rattle until the cave breaks.
I'd go for "Natural Curiosity";-)
It depends on how you define "efficient". TFA doesn't clarify exactly with which version of "Spitfire" they were comparing the Pterosaur, but a Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XIX has a top speed of 740 km/h, maximum weight of 4082 kg on take-off, flying range of 2495 km, reaches up to 13100 meters altitude. All this with a wingspan of just 9.95 meters. I would like to see any living being top those specs.
Efficiency is not raw peak numbers, but a relation between values. Anyways, I would say that nature doesnt need to fly at 13000meters, does it ?
Humans do use a medium (air/athmosphere) for transportation, but their means of propellant is pretty weak and inefficient, thus they try everything to bypass that medium their flying machines actually are relying on. "We're flying hiiigh":D
You can't even hold altitude without forward movement. You a hell a lot of fuel just to suck in air and accellerate it.
But then again, humans are funny anyway, they look at bumble-bees, and wonder how they dare to fly
"The only problem with Microsoft is they have no taste... I don't mean that in a small way -- I mean that in a big way, in the sense that they don't think of original ideas, and they don't bring much culture into their products... So, I guess I am saddened, not by Microsoft's success -- I have no problem with their success; they've earned their success for the most part -- I have a problem with the fact that they just make really third-rate products."

Back when Motorola hid a sword on the G3 (XPC750) die, we came across these silicon art things I dug up the url again : http://www.chipworks.com/gallery/gallery_home.asp
