Clearly there are more smokers than there are people who are this sensitive to smoke. In your situation, I'd say you are the one who needs to be more understanding, not the smokers.
If I start having seizures whenever I see the color red, am I justified in asking everyone to stop wearing red for me and the other 3 people in the world with my affliction?
Anyone else worried that Skype, if owned by Ebay, would be more likely to bend to the FCC's demands to allow federal wiretapping?
Typically big American corporations like Ebay play ball with the government, and one of Skype's most attractive features (IMO) is that they don't allow wiretapping (the data is encrypted end-to-end).
IMO, the added value of skype is that everything is encrypted end-to-end, so I can talk to my buddy about smoking weed without worrying about big brother knocking at my door. I haven't read anything about this open source alternative offering end-to-end encryption.
I imagine it would get used for baseball games. Personally, I'd prefer baseball games to be aired like baseball video games, with the camera behind home plate, about 30 feet up, and an angle wide enough that all 3 bases can be seen in the same shot.
Then they could put the score box in the bottom-left or bottom-right corner (depending on if the batter was right or left handed).

However, are these internet degrees even worth the paper their printed on?
Looks like the brick-and-mortar ones aren't worth much either.
I tend to think that an university education should stress scientific topics over vocational ones...
(emphasis mine)
They could probably stand to add some grammar topics as well

OTOH, the US spends something like $500B/year on defense. Maybe some cuts could be made in that department?
