I see more competing formats causes nothing but headaches for content producers. It is already a pain to develop good content, but then add the need to convert to so many formats for delivery, it is ridiculous. I wonder if cleaner will add an ipod export, this may be worht it then.
I see some companies exporing this option, but I think that given the tools, more people will use it as a way to deliver family videos like holidays, vacations and stuff to ipodcast personal stuff.

I agree. I too would like to have a similar dream team when starting ne projects. It seems to me that if everyone could use the basics of such a system then getting through the first few stages of development would be much faster.
Of course there is the down time in learning new software, but it could save alot in the future.
My problem is this; if you go and train everyone for some new software, adn then somethine better comes out from another source, then you hae to go through it all again, and sometimes it seems half of our time is spent learning new stuff, only to have buggy apps replaced by another system to learn, and rather than collaborating to make things better and faster, more streamlined, we seem sto spend more time learning new tools.
Sometimes I wished I owned a construction company. When they come out with new tools, it doesn't take months to learn to use them, only to find out the new ergonimc hammer is bugy and will be replaced with a new better, more complex to learn hammer a few months later..

Google will need to start doing a front page like yahoo.com soon if they keep offering more services. I like that fact about yahoo.com most of everything I want is on the front pagea click away. I wonder if it is a PR {page rank} thing I noticed that yahoo.com has a PR of a 9 maybe cause it has so many outside links on the front page? I imagine we will always here about Google buying something new just about every other month after all they got like a googles of money since going public.I imagine that a music service will be the next take over target for Google in order to compete with yahoos launch music service.
This is no doubt one scary truth. Around here we all like to think of the bad guy being somewhat dumb after all why become a criminal anyone with half a brain would want to have peace not war but now these guys are getting smart and that worries me. But what also worries me is that a label like a "terrorist site" might be missused in the future by Governments and whos knows what power that gives the Government once your site is labeled a terrorist site! And what rights do you lose?
This guy seems like one smart cookie but I agree with alot of the other people in here this guys name is wierd. But this was a great article would like to meet the guy and pick his brain for a couple hours!
I read that microsoft is donating a million dollars to a New York city Charity and using the rest of the settlement to fight spam. Also heard AOL settled with a spammer and is giving away a Hummer and other goodies seized/taken from the spammer. My opinoin is that this will be a small and short lived victory on the war against spam for spam operatoins are just moving offshore and setting up shop.
MSN has a great emlpoyee base with some of the smartest and wisest staff in the world. Money seems to have that affect for companies. And oh yea money and women will always go hand and hand further more if your lucky and play your cards right you might get to hold her other hand.Instead of that keyboard.
The world market should have as much competetion as possible from a consumers stand point of view because the prices drop faster new lines/products are brought to market faster etc etc just look at xbox 360 coming out. The real question I have is will a new guy/softwaremaker ever make it in a windows/linux only market? A birth of another Bill Gates is that possible?
I thought like the other guy did for a second and said why download a link from a anon poster but then remembered that the article poster from slashdot probably checked it out so it should be a good link. After trying the sim out a couple times its a cool game for an old timer like myself. As a lifetime Nerd though I reccomend to all other young nerds get a real car and do the dang thing in that!! Life behind a puter is cool but nothing beats real life experiences! Sincerly the old nerd.
I agree with the article we have alot more white heros the non white and it seems alot the the bad guys a re black in games, but also I believe white people where the base consumers for gaming in the 80's and 90's and were the driving force behind this multi billion dollar a year industry. Its good that someone other people/organizations are covering topics like this.
True but how does one develope passion for such things unless he was done wrong somehow by a hacker what other kind of passion can one have just curious if maybe you have one?
I just did the download it this rocks!! I ma was waiting on this it seems like forever because I got a plasma monitor back in the day when they cost an arm and a leg and ofcourse I always wanted to watch t.v. thru it. This is no doubt one of the coolest things Mac has rolled out in awhile.
That does not seem true.

I always have the font layout and text size problems with Word docs. My question is do you think longhorn oops I mean vista will fix this problem?
