That is what many terrorism based organization thinks and innocent people dying are the result. People tend take issues to the extreme. I have no problem with confrontation, just the violence.

No choice!!?? There is always choice.

I grew up under the nuclear threat of Communist China in Taiwan. Nuclear weapon does not defend but destroys. It escalate situation beyond control, not to mention its nasty side effects on the population.

Nuclear weapon is a coward's out of a conflict for incompetent politicians. A conflict can be resolved in negotiated peace thru understanding, traditional warfare or diplomatic balancing acts (like Taiwan).

By the way, I was talking about Nuclear Weapon; Serbia was bombed by conventional ordinances. I have nothing against conventional warfare; it has to be done sometimes. Do you really think India can be or need to be protected from Chinese nuclear weapon? Nope, it was built to intimidate Pakistan. What Pakistan do? They get nuclear weapons as well.

"Just because the white people have it, we must have it as well" argument does not really work here. There are always clear political ulterior motives for advance weapon development.

Nuclear weapon does not do anyone good at all.

The market is not always black and white. There are a lot of grey areas. That is why there are different price points in the market. Some consumers may not buy a song at $1.49, but as the price goes down, more and more consumers will buy. For example: The hardcore fan will buy at $1.49, the get to enjoy the song first. The normal fan will buy at $0.99 to 1.29 at a later date. The casual fan will buy at USD 0.79, when the song is on the way out of the top 10. There is a never fixed market over TIME!

If I buy a car from Ford, and someone shoot at me with a gun and damages my car, I would never get pissed off at Ford for not building it bullet proof. It is hard to guard malicious intent of people today. The firewall and anti-spyware software are just like the bullet proof after market upgrade for cars. However, MS does have the corporate responsibility to improve the product as the malicious intents (spyware) becomes part of the environment, as they are doing now. In the mean while we will just have to the aftermarket solutions.
