thanks for the translation since it is yet another indication that most european languages have linguistic similarities since... 'goesting' is a state of mind where you want to pursue something that pleases you
it also makes me very happy since i do think, given enough time most europeans can translate other foreign european texts, not completely offcorse but enough to understand it.
i think you're underestimating yourself i mean everybody can say vafancullo stronzo or... com esta bella donna:D
these are known italian phrases, the reason i asked was because i've only
seen the word
gusta
in italian i wonder tho if the word gusta has anything to do with desire/urge/'ready to do a specified act'. because the word goesting was voted the most popular flemish word last year ... flemish is a dutch dialect spoken in north-belgium btw
because i'm belgian and i really suck at french
it goes so far that i often translate dutch 'spreekwoorden' to french nice way how to not get a job is showing off your french skills with phrases like this:
toujours je m'assieds avec mes mains dans mes cheveux seriously it's becoming embarrassing and be able to speak, read, write french, dutch, english here is not really an advantage it's a requirement!
it's gonna come to the point where iceskating, icehockey, skiing, snowboarding and all the other arctic activities will become an expensive synthetic exotic rarity not only that you'll have to tell your children and grandchildren stories about simple things like snow, ice, winter, different kinds of birds, butterflies,... heck most small kids today haven't seen a pig in real-life some of them don't even know what it is nor know what it sounds like not kidding here, i'm talking about 1 grade junior kids ~ 6-7 years old it's these small things that you'll grow to miss one day.
strange how the english always transform non-english words
it's "de leidense fles"... it would be more correct if it would be called... "the flask from leiden"
is there something like captest86 or something because if i try to find out bad hardware i first download the mainboard's manual and see if the problems are apm/acpi related, since a lot of old mb's are incompatible and/or have issues with power management
although they tend to advertise themselfs as 100% compatible. After that i use memtest86 for like 15 mins, because that would find +90% of the memory problems and running it longer just seems a waste of time Then i would go to the next step, utilizing the process of elimination to find out if the problem is related to another device like pci/agp cards.... if i can't find the problem after that i suspect it's the mainboard but how can one know if it's a capacitator, resistor, transistor, the PSU,...
can someone enlighten me... and can a hobbyist perform these tests and or add replacements i have soldering experience, i can attach a new C,... if the affected area is not too small for a merely man's accuracy offcorse
somebody in ##slackware on freenode
once recommended me to try using the slang API
instead of (n)curses based on the fact that he bought a ncurses book and it sucked monkeyballs and programming ncurses is not really intuitive
some of the other fine folk who regularly sit idle in that channel also said that if it could be done in a Shell script you could try using shell and dialog which is a ncurses based program btw this could obviously be a biased opinion from slackers since the pkgtools in slackware http://www.slackware.com/ are written this way and they have served us fine for many years and will continue to serve us happily for many more years to come.
yeah i bothered and i've already read it but only after posting this quick-and-stupid reply
heck i even replyed to myself very quickly to say i was stupid for not even looking at the titlebar on the screen but apparently either/. didn't get that reply or my internet is going berserk on me again
then again i tried the client and it seems to be very unstable and slow on torrents with a low nr of seeders and leechers. i also tried BitThief like somebody else suggested but that one was even worse. it looks like and acts like a nice console app when started from cli but once you get to the gui, if you can even call it that, it crashes when you simply want to select a torrent, which kinda renders it useless to me
Do i get it right when i think this implies ligthspeed is not a constant but is decreasing over time?
We tend to falsely call it a constant because in the young lifespan of our civilisation the fluctuation is so small we can't even measure the difference?
Does this imply the older and larger the universe gets... the smaller the speed of light will be
and can this mean that some being (we, aliens,...) eventually can't even take a stroll to the market because they would dissolve in pure energy or would the universe would then be so big... it would be cold and death? can someone please elaborate
i think some people just race to get the first exploit for vista out of the door
like the warez groups try to get their warez out as soon as possible
it's also a fame game
it must give a real adrenaline rush when your exploit would be the first that actually works
you're definatly missing
the donkey kong country series, to me that trilogy
raised the quality of 2D platformers to a new high
