    This is the first I've heard of it. So everyone that want's to bash the neo-cons: Remember the lack of serious outcry from any of the current Federal Government. Not a single incumbent, regardless of party affilliation, deserves re-election. Not one.

    Exactly, First make a regular car starter battery. There is already an infrastructure based around 12v batteries: cars, boats, many off-the-grid homes use these or banks of these heavy, limited lifespan lead/acid things that would provide an eager market to replace with a lighter/longerlasting/fastercharging battery.

    just make two classes of outgoing mail: addresses you have recieved e-mail from, and addresses where you are initiating the contact. You are only allowed but so many (20 ?) new contacts per day.

    occasionally in my line of work, people's lives could be endangered (heavy equipment overhead, or with humans on the moving part) and guess what? I always focus my full attention on the situation, because lives are at stake. What is so difficult about realising that the same is true of the medical field?

    I don't care who's getting paid what. I care that they actually focus on their craft, not gloss over my info while lip syncing to their favorite song. You don't need to be entertained at your job, you need to do your job.

    For the $400 per hour I get charged, that PhD can focus his whole attention on my MRI. If you job is important enough to complain about possibly degraded video, it's also important enough to not multitask. Listen to MP3's on your own dime.

    The potential problems caused by a thorough investigation into the ramifications of our broken election system might be a bit more than the prosecution wants to take on. That doesn't mean the election system isn't seriously flawed. My OP point was that we need to take off the blinders and deal with the flaws, and that means first admitting that we have a problem.

    You Sir are quite correct. A parent disciplining their child is exactly equal to vigilante/mob rule. The State know best, perhaps all children should be raised by professional social workers instead of these old fashioned amateurs we call "parents".

    Your independent and responsible attitude clashes with the vicitm mentality of the masses. If all societal problems are not funneled through the courts and government programs, how are we to be ensured of our much needed protective control by our beloved leaders?

    Seriously, we need to give every supreme court judge a TiVo,SlingBox,broadband,video iPod,and laptop, pronto. As they may not have adopted any modern digital/multiformat tastes. They are a kinda old and crusty bunch, being 10 years behind the tech curve could seriously effect the way they view this case.

    But it is because I support my nation, that I was against the invasion of Iraq. It was a bad decision made on false information and a family grudge. Quite obviously that particular culture isn't ready for democracy. This rediculous idea that we need to "spread freedom to the world" is about as well placed as people trying to "save my soul" The desire and initial action must come from within in order for any real change to take place.
