So, if I have Runny Nose, Swollen Sinus, Coughin and the like for 3-weeks straight, can't sleep, feel miserable, am eating right (organges etc), and every morning I wake up, blow my nose and blood shoots out, my eye feels like someone is stabbing me repeatedly in the face and my chest feels like someone is sitting on it most of the time, then what? And before you answer, I've been to multiple doctors and noone know what the goddamn problem is. I've lived most of my life this way. I spend 90% of the year feeling like someone has poured battery acid in my sinuses and down my throat. The entire right side of my face around my eye and sinus throbs nearly continuously and everything I eat makes my stomach feel like I just drank molten steel. I've been working a full-time job since I was 14 years old, I served in the military (with distinction) and I continue to be successful. Meanwhile, I'm in constant pain and feel almost no pleasure in anything I do. So, seein' as you know all there is about doctoring, what can I do?
Finally, something could be considered reasonable advice with a little thing called FACTS to back it up. It's the kind of thing I come to Slashdot for. So little of it is found here though.

There has been some recent break-throughs with Tokamak-style reactors where they've proven that the Plasma becomes self-stabilizing beyond a certain energy level. Sorry, I don't know where the link is right now. Perhaps someone else might know.

Stop the White Guilt! Whites aren't ruining this country. Take a look around.
WTF, is up with the TSA/CPB agents at airports wearing mirrored sunglasses and shit like that when working with the public (indoors). I find it insulting.
Unless it is an incredibly complex method (that should probably be broken up anyway) then the name of the method (in conjunction with the name of the class) as well as the names and types of the arguements, return types, and exceptions thrown, should be sufficient to tell you EVERYTHING you need to know. If not, you're not doing it right.
Because expressing an algorithm recursively provides A LOT of clarity when the operation is in fact recursive. A proper language (like Scheme) that implements proper tail recursion this works really well. For other languages, its a fail due to the inability of the system to perform the calculation in constant space (due to pushing stack frames). That being said, most languages (including C, C++, Java) *could* be made to do proper tail recursion, then that wouldn't be an issue and you would be able to have the clarity of expressing a recursively solved problem with a recursive algorithm. Blame the problem on poorly written compilers and poorly implemented languages.

Not only that, but, soon (very soon I would think) you'll be able to buy a physical book and scan the pages by taking photos of it with your smart-phone which will then OCR and digitize it with almost zero effort. What're they going to do then? Stop printing books at all?

Now, the last field there is an ID number. The zeroes are significant. All of the above spreadsheets will import that as a number and drop the leading zeroes. FAIL!
