The Debian schedule is perfectly reliable. A new version is released when one of the developers watches Toy Story and finds yet another ridiculous release codename!
There seems to be a huge amount of variation in UK stats. For example at the Spreadfirefox website statistics regulary show UK uptake near/higher than the US, at around 12/15%, and many countries with 25% plus (in the EU, for those who mentioned it). It seems overall the market share is about correct, but the values for specific countries is a little to be desired (how for example, are they determining the users country, by useragent?;))
Did anyone care to notice that there is such a thing as public transport? It seems some Americans have cars with such large engines, they use their car to carry one person while a similar engine could carry 30+ people on a small bus... $3/gallon? Start noticing how lucky you are.
There is a project of the ESA doign a similar thing (not going to pluto, but following a similar orbit) which will return to earth in 50,000 years. You can write a message up to 4 pages long to go with it - I can't remember what the project is called, but i've wrote my little piece, and if you want to Google is your friend!
Pretty much the entire rest of the world got fucked over with Vista pricing too.. Here's how Gates weasel'd out of it @1:08: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmd93lWbOsw
I believe you're refering to Sterling Silver, but it's been some time since you could buy a pound of silver for 1GBP :P

What sort of little kid reads Slashdot...?
What's interesting is my Religious Education Book already states this, and it was published some 5 years ago...
