I was having problems with an epson stylus photo a few years ago - the heads seemed to be clogged, and I finally gave up on the head claning routine.
I was about to hit the head with qtips and alcohol, and had to get inside the box to get to the print head..
I found this large black/brown object in the bottom of the printer. When I pushed it I realised it was a huge sponge/absorbant pad full of - now it was all mixed - brown ink. Hoe much wasted ink was in that sponge? At least 60+ cartridges full by volume.
At this point I got rid of the printer - use a mono laser now and a minilab for my photos.
I tell my freinds I use a £30K printer for my photos... A minilab...

I've heard from other sources that Paramount let them do this as long as they make no money from it. No Money period. Thats not just a profit, thats no income. As soon as they could be taking money from paramount, they get a call from the lawyers. I think thats why they dont even offer the episodes on dvd, because they would get have to charge, and then be stopped.
So its costing them money probably. Which is why theres no money to hire other actors. It appears it's all just for love..
It's strange, that all of the DVD players I have ever owned have had an undocumented 'feature' that allows me to make the device region free? So, as I read this, the manufacturer builds these features into their device, which you find out and turn on (probably through keypresses of the remote, and then the player says "Hey, this player shouldnt be region free" and disables itself.
Ok if you pull out the firmware and reverse engineer the code and put your own in, now that to me is hacking, but surely not if you enable a feature that the manufacturer has built in?
I imagine that it has got to the point now that dvd players that you cant disable the region code probably sell less well as those that you can disable it, so the manufacturer is going to stuff their product with these backdoors so more people buy them.
(a vacuum that sucks up your hair and cuts it with a blade inside the vacuum attachment- this was in the 'cut your hair at home' stage of the late 80's).

Well if we are believe what Apple says about viruses, they cant get them, so this wont work with the iPod. THIS is an iPod killer! Wow!
