Look for an extension called "Nightly Tester Tools" or something like that (too lazy to google for you). It has a feature alloing you to "force" extensions to install in any version.
I am one of those who frowns on Wikipedia while marking and its not because of accuarcy issues. Citations should be made to orignal research publications, not summaries such as those in Wikipedia. Same goes when using review articles, cite the original work unless you are using a novel conculsion made by the reviewer.
I'm still a bit confused about why we would need to stick things to the floor... Is 1/6 of Earths gravity so little that if I didn't glue my bed to the ground then I'd wake up floating somewhere? I thought Neil Armstrong came back down to the ground after jumping about just fine but then again those videos could all be fakes:)
Microsoft even came up with a way to harness this to allow users to send real-time feedback to Microsoft HQ whenever a crash occurred in a program. No one I know ever sends that data back, but I'm sure someone must have once.
My Grandfather was having trouble running FlightGear under windows and sent one of those to Microsoft. Even got a response telling him it was a driver problem.
I send Firefox errors, just to give them some hope:)
Note to self - must change computer password...
The first sentence in the article summary says "Internet Explorer 7 was finally released this morning". Seems the GP did read the summary!
I think the GP was going for funny... However, I can understand your confusion given it really was not funny.
Now I am really jealous - all I have is a single shitty laptop! I suppose my power bill will be much smaller though...

I thought we would get no spelling and grammar mistakes in April Fools submissions...
Notepad is just as bad. It took me a long time to completely replace that with another text editor.

I submit Firefox crashes so the IE team feels a little hope...

Why does the link about slashdotting go to a wikipedia article about some site called Digg :)
Funniest comment I have read in ages...
I spent hours playing with this game and its code. This was where I learnt what a class/struct/whatever they are call in basic was.
