Actually character recognition is really good especially with the newer Windows 7 tablet interface. Besides it is/was not a choice between full-fledged performance and touchscreen capability. HP hybrid tx2000 series tablet pcs are regular fully-powered laptops that double as tablets. It makes sense when you need to read and annotate a lot of documents or take notes. There's also the fact the most laptop owners have access to a powerful desktop when they need to do heavy-duty creative/productive work.
Having said that, the older tablets had terrible screens in terms of readability. I am looking forward to a tablet hybrid that uses Pixel Qi screens

Google is a proven risk, this guy's just a potential one.
This is misleading statement.
Simple risk analysis:
Google is a KNOWN risk with very substantial assets to lose if they screw up.
This guy is an UNKNOWN risk with (presumably) a lot less to lose.
So does the vega-thingie burn the oil or harvest heat from used oil?
Doesn't burning vegetable oil still produce a lot CO2?

This law does not make it illegal for foreigners to take satellite images of American installations.
Somehow, I don't think this particular law was framed with national security in mind.
So basically cause mutations in marine life and incur a non-trivial risk of radioactive material spewing out of any nearby volcano.
