iirc LOAD "$", 8 would work better for you. Just,8 was definitely needed when loading any BASIC programs but ML programs would usually be,8,1. Also I cut the solder to make my drives 8, 10, 11, and 12.:-)
The first part of your comment is true, 10 is dropping them. The second part isn't - conditional comments can be written either to exclude or include all browsers that don't support them (with comment syntax or tag syntax). When using comment syntax IE6-9 can execute a piece of code that all other browsers see as a comment.
Find a dead project online, and hijack their bug tracker. Just as long as it's one where you can register without authorization and close your own bugs it should work brilliantly.
Does everyone have to go through field of vision tests first to ensure that you're not making them more at risk? How does this help when the sun is in my FoV? I can certainly see the visor when I drive, e.g. every time I look to the rear view mirror.
Again with the FAQ, they are looking for anyone of any nationality over 25 in good physical health, particularly people with niche and useful skill sets like doctors and engineers. All that said they are going to have the public vote on who actually goes, which means you also have to be good looking and have a quirky personality.
They said they'd have space suits. I guess the biggest risk with disconnecting the camera is that they're not going to be sending more people and supplies in 2 years because the show went off the air, lost it's audience, and everyone involved is bankrupt.
I'm not sure if you recall, but Flash for linux is discontinued unless you're using the bundled Chrome version (http://www.osnews.com/story/25639). In light of that I've given up on the idea of them fixing any major bugs for that platform.
So I determined that where I hold the steering wheel depends on what I'm doing.
In moderate highway traffic I drive 8 and 4 where my hands are in the best position to micromanage the cruise control. (I prefer driving with my hands to my feat when I can, drives my wife crazy) In very light or stop and go highway traffic, or inner city roads that are straight, I typically drive with my left hand on the arm rest and my right hand at 3. When I'm driving one handed as above and need to turn or switch lanes, or on twisty roads, I drive with my hands on 9 and 3.
It doesn't do TV yet though it is planned and being worked on (forever). For TV you're probably better off with mythtv.
I haven't tried 11.0 yet, but I've been using 10 since it came out. Streaming for various sites is supported through 3rd party addons, so quality varies by addon. I don't watch Hulu or Netflix, but I have one for watching Canadian TV shows and another for Ted Talks that work quite nicely. Otoh, I haven't had good luck with the Youtube or Yahoo Music addons.
You're confusing accusations with facts. It was a Liberal staff member that leaked the information about Toews, not an NDP politician as the Conservatives initially claimed (without evidence).
I buy from gog.com since they seem to be actively targeting the anti-DRM crowd. Of course most of the computer games are quite old - still I didn't own all the good ones when they were new.
Of course the 'about turn' happened a long time ago. CodePlex (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CodePlex) is pretty definitive proof that MS Supports Open Source, at least when it coincides with their business goals.
Now try to find high quality propriety products that are not backed by huge organizations. (Size of the backing organization and license used are different topics; you're trying to mix them and so your conclusion is flawed.)
When I was in California with my wife, we went to The Tech (http://www.thetech.org/) and the Intel museum (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/company-overview/intel-museum.html)
We found the Tech interesting and wish we had more time to see it (we got there a couple hours before closing), the Intel museum wasn't anything special and could probably be skipped unless you really like looking at old silicon wafers or can't miss the opportunity to wear one of those bunny suits for a photo op.
He could be referring to the.designer classes that are made when you use the form designer tools, or some of the convenient templates. I would argue back that typing tons of tedious repetitive code doesn't make you a better programmer - QT Designer and Eclipse provide the same shortcuts for the same reasons.
FUD. I remember the original slashdot FUD article you're referring to as well. WPF and Silverlight are not all of.NET or C# and even if it were the source cited didn't really say that at all.
People who think they can convey sarcasm in printed text usually do not have the talent to carry it off. It is almost impossible to do in a brief post. People who think sarcasm is clever are not that clever. People who say "you missed the sarcasm" in such a case are merely tiresome.
I picked it up. Perhaps it's cultural but the phrase "Cause you know that make sense" just reeks of sarcasm, and the ellipses makes it even more obvious. - not sarcasm.

http://www.c64-wiki.com/index.php/LOAD probably has more information than you care for.

Enjoy the journey.
This was in the FAQ, they want mixed gender. Supposedly because mixed gender groups tend to fair better - I think also for ratings.

The real money is private, the government just has a lower barrier to entry. (I'm Canadian so I don't know if this holds true for the US)
I didn't get a reply at all... though my MP was already against it so I'm guessing even if they did read it and agree it wouldn't have done much good.
Did spy hunter have an ending? I don't think I ever made it past fall.

Sounds a little bit Mel Brooks.
Floating point texture support in mesa? AFAIK they are the only binary distro to enable that flag because of patent concerns.

Probably when they called Linux and open source licenses 'cancer' http://www.theregister.co.uk/2001/06/02/ballmer_linux_is_a_cancer

They are porting everything to use an abstraction layer (I believe called TQ), which they in turn hope to port to QT 4, but it's a long process.
