I knew people were going to take "The Movies" and make actual movies. Before, making machinima was hard and annoying. You needed a couple friends, a couple of X-Boxes, and a lot of free time. Now with this game, it has become so much easier to make machinima. I hope I see more political pieces like this. Maybe, just maybe, Machinima will be looked at as a higher art form...
I don't think the Nintendogs will do well in the "Good 'ol United States". It's very Japanese. And it shows. In Japan, most households do not have dogs, so they need video game simulations. In America, nearly half (or more) of the population has one or more dogs. I don't think our youth have become connected to video games so much that they will choose a simulation over the real thing. But that's just me...
While I do disagree with Jack Thompson and his views, I also disagree with gamers who blindly throw their support to the industry. Gaming fanboys who do this are just as stupid as Thompson himself.
"OMFG! Jack Thompson was done!"
Be reasonable. Kids shouldn't be allowed to view Mature rated games with out permission from their parents, just as they shouldn't be allowed to watch R-Rated films without their parents permission.
Maybe it could be a good idea? I mean, when was VII released? It's been a couple years. If they actually updated the game with better cut scenes, more side missions, and an updated battle system, it might be worth buying.
Gaming addiction is a problem, I don't think there is any dispute over that. But, how big of a problem is it? Not a huge one. In Asia, it's a bigger problem.. As dshaw858 said,
" I stand by my opinion that 'gaming addiction' is a lot of media and hype for something that's very small."
I'm not that big of a fanboy!
The Micro looks like a smaller GBA. Does Nintendo really expect us to purchase 3 versions of the same system (The GBA, GBA SP, and the Micro)??
Probably Not...

The human eye can only see so much. I mean, can you really tell the difference between 100,000 to 1 and 1,000,000 to 1?
Halo 2's packaging is not what made me buy Halo 2...

I think we've all seen this web site about Google's power.... or it's potential for power..
