How bout that damned penguin being skewerd bye the FreeBSD Daemon!! But seriously if it is for a graphics mag, not an internet mag as most of these responces seem to think try a well known high end graphics worstating with "Tux" on the screan (an SGI with that flat panel would be a good choice)
Well sun has always had the ability to make binarys for ther current x86 platform just by telling the compiler to do so. I see no reson as to why they would change that now.

The stats on #23 are out of date. Our frends at nersc joined their two T3E's so the new mcurie has a Peak of 575 Gflops not the 444.2 listed

I would more consiter it to be news if Sun did NOT port ther OS to rhododendron or irritating or what ever the hell they are going to call it.
