Not if they go the route of head mounted displays (i.e. nintendo ON); projection, like many speculated with the wii... or who knows... functional 3-d might actually hit it big. so there is quite a few graphic upgrades that could be accomplished next gen, in fact i think this next gen will be the biggest jump.
how can the ps2 get only 3 stars for launch. i made ove 3000 dollars selling ps2's on ebay. no other console has matched that hype since or previously.
most people are saying the reason it's not hd capable is because they are not even using a tv with this thing. perhaps a visor ala "On" or a steroscopic projection which many are also saying.
i do believe they certainly have a trick up there sleave, why else would we not have seen ANY screen shots of any games that will be releasing in under 7 months. it just doesn't make sense. i'll tell you y, it's cuz the don't microsoft or sony to copy them and make a similar peripheral. i'm telling ya that the controller was and is not the BIG secret.
the revolution was really just an add on to the 360 and could slide into the 360's hard drive slot. that would be one hell of a way to stomp sony, and incorporate wifi into the 360.
then again maybe this is part of their plan to make even more revenue of of hardware sales/replacements. brilliant nintendo...
