  1. Medications vs. Treatment on Secrets of Schizophrenia and Depression "Unlocked" · · Score: 0

I know this is an unrelated disorder but the idea I want to present still holds. My father has Epilepsy (non-genetic) and has been on prescription Phenobarbital, dilatin, and Folic Acid most of my life. Though this helped control the seizures it did not address the primary problem... Damage to the right side of his brain. The bigger problem is the impact of the medication on his ability to operate in the world around him. His reaction time, cognition, and memory are all greatly affected and external stimuli can make a tremendous impact on his life. If not for the medication he would probably qualify as a borderline genius, but he would have 3-4 Gran Mal seizures a day. To try and help him doctors have tried him on multiple medications and are now evaluating him for surgery. This is where I make my point. the medications though helpful do not address the problem: damage to the brain. The solution is to remove the damage. The question is how will this affect the rest of his life. The same is true here: Medications do not solve the underlying cause of Schizophrenia or Bi-Polar Disorder. A lasting treatment needs to be developed to provide this capacity. There are underlying problems (genetic, physical, chemical, all of thee above) that need to be treated in a lasting manner. (I am not just blowing smoke out my ass I too deal with imbalance issues including ADD and hormonal imbalances causing gender dysphoria, it is a chemical problem and I find a way to live my life normally despite the fact but I still wish there was permanent treatment.)

Look at RadioParadise.com I recently found them and was quite pleased with what I tuned into... They play many different genres and let the listeners rate the music. If you like you can comment on it and say what you did or did not like about the track and you can even see information about the band.

They are now a bookmark on each computer I work on. (More then I want to admit)

The Myst series alone is one of the most artistic ventures undertaken in interactive multimedia. DVD Videos will never match Computer games for Interactive ability. But Movies are more artistic than say...Pac-Man or Frogger. But Myst Is king.

  6. Re:Preamp necessary on Poor Man's Whole House Audio? · · Score: -1, Redundant

You can also help yourself out with the right motherboard.... I suggest something with the UAJ (Universal Audio Jack) look at the Gygabyte GA-K8NS Pro. then you can plug-in three small pre-amps and split to two or sets of speakers each (this is provided that smaller pre-amps will save you money) look at an online motherboard manual to decide if this is right for you.

  7. Ghost on PC Cloning Solution? · · Score: 0

I have an interestin job layout but when i am working on backup I use Ghost 5.1c it is an old version but it will back up any partition except for NTFS based (works on Fat16, FAT32, ext2, ext3, Linus Swap, HPFS, etc.) For NTFS I recommend either Ghost 2003 or 9.0.
If the laptops are identical you can install it on a control system and use a bootable CD/DVD to run the basic (think graphical DOS styling only polished up a little) client and it shouldnt warn you about liscensing issues(not a problem on 5.1). If it does you can symply ignore the message (2003) and it wont ask twice. This is of course for a manual partition restore. If you want an automated solution you will have to pay for licensing (for safety's sake) but it is a nice package to use. I recommend keeping a backup disk with your images (stored in .gho format) so that you can use them when necessary for manual restores. Also the newer versions of Ghost alow you to update parts of a .gho file.

Why must the riaa (diliberate) sue for this... I currently have mp3s of Foo Fighters In Your Honor. I am deciding A.) Weather or Not I can afford the CDs yet. B.) Weather or Not my mom will approve. and C.) Weather or Not I support the theamatic elements of the music. If I find that A or B is against me, I will get it later... If C is against me... Ill keep what i want because 4 songs arent worth $20.00 But hey what do I know... Im only a 16yo with a lawyer for an aunt.

If only our government would spend as much on alternative fules as they do on fossil fuels, we would not have smog issues because there would be no fossil fules. But HEY, what do I know? I'm only an over-informed 16yo.

  11. Here is a thought. on Mozilla Hits Back at Browser Security Claim · · Score: 1

Fire Fox is more secure because it is more restricted. By this I mean that I have set up FireFox to prompt me on every cookie that a website tries to set. and I have used this to deny Mediaclick and adserve. I also use extentions like adblock and a few others to tell me where I am and to block Ads that I do not want to see. With Internet Poopyplorer I have to spent more money that is worth it to secure it to the same level that the Default install for win FireFox is without being sued. So I feel that Symantic is just working on FUD because Spybot and AdAware Personal are phaseing it out. Heck the only thing I would even think about using is System Works and mabey a new version of Ghost... But 5.1c still works beter than 2005
