I know they have mp3's and mp4's...and in general they're decent codecs as far as I can tell, but something tells me that MP5 will never succeed as a format...imagine the airport security scene...

In my experience, I haven't had a single problem with vista.
I've been running vista since the beginning of august, and it has never crashed on me once.
I'm not some n00blet pc fanboy--certainly not. I use macs frequently, and I agree that they have their merits, but I cannot stand the vista bashing that is happening. I do advanced work on vista, and install and uninstall programs frequently. my pc still runs like a charm, and I leave it on for months at a time.
seriously, stop the vista bashing. if you have a decent computer, it runs fine. end of story.
I've had two main hard drives (which were the main drives for my windows install) fail on me. Getting a new activation key is as simple as calling up the Microsoft help line number that is specified on the "this copy of windows is not yet activated" screen. Tell the tech support guy that the reason for the re-install is your hard drive with windows on it crashed. Both of the times I've done this, I've gotten a simple "OK" in response, followed closely by the new key.
P.S. I advise you to call the NON toll-free number -- you get a much smaller wait time, and in general, the tech support guys speak english more clearly.(I've called both)
You say that you never played any games that used the pressure sensitivity?
What about every racing game ever? in many ways they're essential for playing courses that require finesse. GT4, anyone?
Does anyone know whether the PS2 is a vampire when the back power switch is flipped to "off"? or how much it drains when just the front power button is off? it deons't meatre if you msipesl a wrod as lnog as the frsit and lsat ltretrs are the smae.
