It seems he's never heard of "Windows"
Actually the first feed in the Slashdot section is titled `No Respect for Windows Open Source', I find that pretty amusing. Guess they didn't pay much attention on the fact that Slashdot does not like Windows.
The only way the RIAA can stop piracy is if they ban the internet, but since that can't happen, I think that they should try shutting down Hollywood and the music/gaming industry.
No thats not a working analogy, a working analogy would be:
If Ford makes a car that breaks when a rock is thrown on it and is sold in a place where rocks constantly fall can you sue them? Maybe, maybe not but it sure is their fault.
I switched because Windows was unbearably hard to use despite all the bullshit everyone says. Here's what I mean, I can't delete folders because some "other program is using this file" even running in safe mode, what the fuck is using it? Also Windows crashes too much on me. Windows is made for idiots at the expence of people who know how to use a computer properly. This of course is besides the obvious benefits on the Open Source community.
I've loved the nickname "E D D ! 3" I also try it where ever I go. I get really upset when systems don't accept spaces or even worse charaters like "!" which should be aloud everywhere. It's not like it's an email which cannot accept spaces, but it's just stored in a database which is fully capable of storing a space.
I must honestly say, that I use almost default KDE settings and it took me about 5-8 hours to be completely used to it. I came from Windows XP. Gnome is also very nice, when modified enough (and more efficent than KDE). I don't think that Linux has done a bad job with GUI, in fact I think people only critisize it because they compare it to Mac and Windows, and cannot spend a few hours getting used to it.
I think Firefox should sue Microsoft for bundling it with Internet Explorer, and why doesn't Linus sue them for bundling it with the Windows kernal? And Gnome can follow too?
My point is that Microsoft can do whatever the hell they want with what they sell, not if only it was that easy to get rid of it.
Well, that's just as stupid, It's Microsoft's product, they can do whatever they want to their product, if you're unhappy then don't make your product for Windows.
As much as I hate Microsoft, I cannot see why they don't have the right to create an Addition to their operating system. Why doesn't Mozilla sue Microsoft for putting Internet Explorer onto Windows? Why doesn't RealPlayer sue them for Windows Media Player? The fact is, Windows, as terrible as it may be can come with as much [spyware infested] programs as they want, for it's their product.
I use Ad-Block to block ads because all they do is flash random retarded messages (such as "free smileys!!!!"). Not to mention that some flash so much, with some many colors that my eyes start twitching, so I block just about all ads I can find from their source so I don't have to deal with them. Also many ads deform web pages.
According to Google Maps this seller is just over 4 miles from me *returns to his evil lair*.

No, quite the opposite, they patched it.
I wonder how microsoft infected this computer, my guess is they installed the latest Vista build.

Can you imagine something with more ads and "features" than MSN? the file will probably be about 100mb.
