  1. It's worth 11.80 per disc, depend on qualtiy on The Ultimate Star Trek Collection · · Score: 1

It's on the border line of being worth it for me. It all depends on how well the quality is. I know I can't get HD quality for the old stuff but if it's all direct copy from a bad VHS... then I don't think it's worth while.

  2. Data structures Languages on How To Get Into Programming? · · Score: 1

As a CS major student now, the one best advice I can give you is to start with a data structure class. A good data structure class will probably teach you the bare-bones of a language, then somethings about how computers work on the inside, then they'll teach you about how to organize data, how data works, etc. I really wished I had taken a data structure course before I took C++, Java and Assembly. Languages might change over time but data strucutres will not. In programming, it's not the language itself that's the hard part (although some languages are harder to grasp than other. *cough* *assembly* *cough*), the hardest/important part of programming is trying to figure out how to get something done.

  4. Why should anyone have the final say? on Lawmakers Support U.S. Control Of The Internet · · Score: 1

I personally think that no one should have the final say about what domain gets what. Whenever countries like China whine about things like how' they're not involved enough in stuff like this, I have to take their argument with a grain of salt. Really, a communist country should have no right to talk about... well... rights. I thought as it is now, people are on the first come, first serve basis. I personally don't mind that. (with a few exceptions, of course, i.e. registering someone's name, squatting on it, and force them to buy it from you.) But I don't think the internet should be something that any country or a group of country gets to regulate. It should be regulated via agreement from the netizens, you know, the people that actually run webservers and contribute to content on the internet rather than some politicians that want to control it for their own purposes. That's my 2 cents. If any facts I stated needs correction, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I just want everyone to know that when I first bought GTA 3 on the PS2 that in my 5~6 complete hours of playing that game, I blew up around 25~30 cars, blow up 4~5 trucks, shot and hurt many, many civilians. But you know what? I think I might have killed a total of one cop... again, I think... By the end of that 5~6 hours and leaving it on the shelf or a good year or so, I sold it to a game reseller a really bad Gundam game. You know... some people just fired up about nothing... Sim 2 has low-res polygonal nudity? God, thanks, Mr. Thompson. Thanks for telling all the pervvy little teenagers that. Now they'll go out to buy the game... idiot... *shakes head* Sometimes I wonder if he's getting kick back from these game companies. Oh yeah, I would also like to announce that Star Wars: battle front is a jedi-killing simulator. I mean, if I saw a real jedi on the streets, I would know exactly how to kill him! All I have to do is try to land a tie-fighter on him or blow him off a cliff with a grenade (and I say him because there are only male jedis/siths in that game). How dare lucas arts for making such a violent game! I mean, you can totally see what they're trying to do to our poor, innocent children!
