I never bothered to think about it. But after I got my business account and kept track a bit, realized I was going over 1TB a month. Without having to worry about caps, I found I was more charitable when it came to opening up torrents for sharing numerous Linux distributions.

I think you'll find that Gary Johnson (Was GOP, now Libertarian) would be more so than Ron Paul. In fact, he legalized it medically in New Mexico while governing there and admits to having smoked it himself for medical reasons. He's the only candidate I'd consider voting for based on social and economic and international views.

Naw, just reset. Till the next superminded physicists find out to much. It's like the Matrix, only without the flashy show. Keanu plays as the fresh out of college at 18 physicist and the freeze frame encircles a synapse as the electrical charge bounces across and an idea comes to mind. Of course It's also the only way you can tell he had a thought as his face remains impassive.

  9. Achievements for everyone on Slashdot Launches User Achievements · · Score: 1

I don't mind everything having achievements as it gets people to try and do everything at once. But at the same time you'll just get people doing something, just for the achievement, ending up with a dumb comment or tag or whatever they want to achieve just to get that phrase on their account.

I have to agree with your reasons. When I'm on my motorcycle and head home and have to make a left turn, the sensors don't always catch motorcycles cause of not having enough metal. Now, at midnight these lights WILL NOT change unless the sensors trip, and it's not always sensible to make a right turn then a u-turn cause the u-turn light won't change either! Yet if a cop sees a biker run the light, he gets a ticket in this town.

  13. Comcast cap? on How Does Your ISP Handle Top-Usage Customers? · · Score: 1

I live in Jacksonville Florida, and I'm not sure what the cap is, but it must be pretty darn high! I hosted http/email/ftp for myself for two years with them and my average weekly upload/downloads was in upwards of 20GB/week for both on average, with download rates of anywhere from 400KB/s to 1200KB/s from Microsoft and any other server willing to send me data that fast. And I'm not talking burst speeds. I'm talking new files for 10minutes plus. I've never been capped by comcast by useage or speed. Not to mention the same IP a year at a time. All on the standard 6MB connection.

Yeah :( My boyfriend was molested by his dad in ways I still don't understand how he came to terms with his dad as he grew up. I've had my fair share of friends that were raped by family members when younger along with friends that were just plain raped at young ages. Horrible stories, but it happens more often then we think. Some just get over it better then others and no one knows any better of it.
