6. dont use "UPDATE" or "INSERT" or "DELETE" querys
What do you mean? Only use stored procedures? You can safely use the above if you parameterise them (as long as the queries are on the server-side code, and not embedded in the javascript or something silly like that).
I'm very happy about the direction Nintendo is going in, but think it would be just the coolest thing ever if they released a Nintendo DS cartridge of all Zelda games, or all Mario platform games for the Gameboy/Gameboy Colour. Or all Sonic Game Gear games.
Being able to play these games on the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube/Revolution is nice, but these games were meant to be played on the hand-helds, and the limitations (screen-size, controls) of the DS fit the games well. Currently your only option is to buy a Gameboy Advance. Then either hunt-down 2nd-hand copies of the Gameboy games (and put up with them sticking out the bottom), or go down the flash-cart route for the Sega games.
Mod Parent up - surely this is just spurious late speculation about the Origami project? There was that video of someone playing Halo on an Origami-type device, and it's already been touted as a media player
TFA seems low on detail, high on "unnamed sources"...
Well, I talk to people enough not to resort to insults at the first opportunity;o)
Some of the BBC's output is worthwhile, but programmes like Eastenders, The National Lottery and Strictly Come Dancing (just a few examples) are really not much better than the crap you find on the other channels. Overall, I find that the BBC's output is not much higher than the other channels - certainly not high enough for me to want to pay for it.
If other people don't like the adverts, let them pay a subscription fee.
I appreciate that the BBC has a public-service commitment, but paying £1,000,000 to show the Lottery doesn't seem to fit within that remit.
I'm an avid TV viewer in the UK. There's not a single person I know who is happy with the way the BBC is funded, currently. Most of the best programmes are from the U.S. or on the advert-supported channels. I'm more than happy to watch/ignore adverts every 12 minutes.
He doesn't come to that conclusion - MS still allow illegal users to install "high priority security updates".
In any case, even if they did allow illegal users to manually run updates via the Windows Update site and install the MS AntiSpyware tool (instead of any of the free, non-MS options out there), they can't guarantee that the illegal user will do that. Just as they can't guarantee that normal users will do that. So there could well be only a relatively-insignificant drop in worm/virus traffic.

I'm not aware of any virus scanners that would say "Hey, this JPEG looks infected, want to open it?".
;o)
That being said, I've not tried the Microsoft "One Care" solution
