I don't think this is it. If an organization is pirating Windows, which is extremely common in businesses, then they'll stand out like a sore thumb as I'm sure the 'basic' version won't be a corporate offering. It's like a call-home. The 'Microsoft Police' come in and will very simply see what computers look crappy and which don't. You know where the licenses are right away. You can't assume a license is there, as you'll see it. As a user in a University, you'll see right away which PCs are legit.
What about those of us that prefer not to use the "XP Look" and feel? My machine still looks like Windows 2K because I like it that way and it reduces overhead on my system. Am I going to be harrassed by MS because I don't look how they want?
I've had my RX8 for over 2 years. I had it flood one time when I pushed the gas starting it. Since then I leave my foot off the petal and have had no trouble since. To get it started after a flood is cake. You put the gas petal to the floor (this actually cuts off the supply when the engine isn't running), turn the key until it turns over. It will stall, pull your foot off the gas and start the car.
Silly, me...
I was thinking along the lines of fine wires with alternate charges set to shock you when you hit the wrong (or right) spot on the screen.
Update Employees
SET UNEMPLOYED_TYPE = 'LAID OFF'
WHERE Employer IN ('SIEBEL', 'ORACLE')
AND Skill_Set Like '%NONTECHNICAL%'
AND Department_Type Like '%BACK OFFICE%'...
You don't need UPPER in SQL when using LIKE comparisons...at least the MS versions of SQL. Functions acting upon the column names in the left of equal sign 'WHERE' clauses only force SQL to not search indexes as well, so your query saves precious time and money if you remove the upper function altogether. Think of the company!
I do remember reading somewhere...maybe even here that they are going to start "emulating" OpenGL under DirectX to try to kill it and deny OGL Applications access to the libraries(?)
What, is Microsoft not going to publish new DirectX versions for older systems? What else could be so life-and-death critical that the version matters?
Yeah...They already committed to not updating DirectX on Windows 2K after Jan 2005 (I think that was the date)....or at least the installer won't let you put it on the 2K box easily.
In order to kill the other you need to have PvP...and if you decide to kill this person over and over because they are in a GLFG or whatever it's called is considered harassment. My question on this whole matter is:
"Why do you need to advertise that your guild is friendly to something clearly not related to any in game mechanic?"
There is no supported method of marriage in game. You can't have sex with the other character in game. If you formed a guild friendly to wolves and promised to never kill a wolf, this would be acceptable.
You can however kill, profile, gain experience and have fun in this fantasy world. That is what it's written for. It's not written to handle relationships between characters in game. Sims I believe already does that. If your looking to hang out with people that you want to pretend to do whatever you want with, go there for heaven's sakes.
I think we all know that certain individuals will enter said other worlds simply becuase they are not welcome there and complain when they are kicked out for profiling...
Wasn't this covered enough about 3 months ago?
Sure it can, but to be considered shareware, it would have to be free at some point.

Your smoking crack. Win2000 runs games better than any XP machine I've seen because of the lack of overhead by the OS. WinME just sucked.

Fly next to it at the same speed.
I'm not sure if it was posted yet, but: "Outlaw games and only outlaws will have games."
