You must not be very cordinated then. I have played pretty much all the major FPSs for all the consoles. Goldeneye was good for its time. Try playing it now... I did the other day. After using the Halo control sceme Goldeneye is combersome (on every one of its control schemes). Halo is the only console FPS where making headshots seem natural getting rid of that pixel hunting feeling.
Yes I play PC shooters like CS, CS: source, and BF2. They are great when I am by myself but when I have my friends over nothing beats 4 player deathmatches. Halo is also the first FPS which lets you bring 4 people, on the same console, online and play other groups of people. Many games and consoles seem to neglect this very fun feature.
Well when I think of "Defender" in the software realm, I think of the defender arcade game: http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=D&game_ id=7547 I don't know about the rest of you but I think William's has a pretty good case against Windows defender:)
I checked my application even log back to 9/26 (where it ends) and I don't have that event at all. Infact the only microsoft one I have is for office 2003. I have my auto updates set to notify me when available btw.
That may have something to do with one of your Microsoft applications such as windows media player. If that is the case just disable the auto update option.

Ummm... This statement is like saying "Who has more power over your Sony Playstatin". It doesn't have a point.
However Microsoft does have to make you sign an agreeement any time they want to modify your operating system. If you don't want to have it modified you can simply not update it and it is still perfectly usable. They don't require you to use DRM protected content. It is a choice that you can make yourself.
DRM aside Sony's propriety formats and connections are a pain. It will be nice being able to plug my iPod mini into my Xbox 360 standard USB 2.0 port and have it work.
P.S. Hopefully Sony will not kill Blue-Ray with DRM protection.
