Personally I believe that Amazon.com should have the right to put what they want on their website as long as it isn't illegal (warez, copyright infringement, etc..) To sue a company just because bad remarks were given by reviewers is dumb in my opinion. What ever happened to a company being able to do what they like? I believe it is THEIR right to be able to do what they want with their site and should even have the right to remove books from their database totally. I mean, there are tons of websites out there that bash and criticize things but do you see THEM being sued for hurting the reputation of the person being criticized? I know if I owned a company I would feel like I have the right to do what I'd like with it.
Personally I think Balmer is an idiot. Bill Gates should take over again then maybe Google wouldn't have the right to think Microsoft is BS. I'm on Google's side now - I always take the smaller side as they tend to have more care about things, that is, until they become the big company then I will go with the next.

I am really interested in seeing how this turns out. It's amazing what people can do with technology and science today.
I do think its quite stupid to make other companies pay royalties for using a FORMAT. What people will do for money these days...
