You probably aren't using a good viewing spot to determine how many people use their SUVs to transport more than just the driver.
If people were using their SUVs to drop off the kids on the way to school, then I would imagine that when the driver got to their final destination the odds of being the only person in the car would be pretty high. Most teachers/adult students, probably wouldn't actually bringing their kids to the university with them, right?
My wife frequently goes to the gym after dropping off the kids at school. A lot of people see her with only one person in the car but that one spot doesn't really show all of the ways the car is getting used.
Our son has autism and was about 4 1/2 when his younger sister was born (his twin sister does not). Our doctor congratulated us when we "decided" to vaccinate our youngest daughter because a lot of parents of a child with autism either are not or have to think about it a lot more than they should. It still makes me mad when I see the Jenny McCarthy types making their money promoting their anti-vax books and then I have to spend time explaining to relatives and friends that Jenny McCarthy doesn't have any real knowledge of science and is probably pretty useless source of information about anything except what kinds of bikinis are popular these days.
I thought the publishers had been setting their prices all along and Amazon was buying them at one price and selling them at a cheaper one. Doesn't that mean that Macmillan will make the same amount per ebook since the price Amazon pays isn't changing but that they don't want readers to get used to "only" paying $9.99.

Our library lets us check out ebooks for free from My Media Mall (http://www.mymediamall.net/) using my library card.
I just found out about it the other day and haven't had a chance to try it yet but I know a lot of public libraries have similar arrangements. Call your local librarian and ask them if they have something similar.
My dad is working for some union sponsored campaign office that will be shutting down in November. They are all using open office instead of MS. If renting for a short period of time is good, then using for free for the same period of time is better.
Since you asked our opinions, here's mine.
I love reading books on it. With a PDF, I can turn the doc sideways and switch to full screen mode and easily read it almost anywhere with each PDF page taking up one full screen.
I used to have a Palm Tungsten and also loved reading books on it.
And for the record, we turned our family room into a library and have a lot of books in it. I enjoy reading books either way. I'm more about the content then the actual physical manipulation of the pages.
The biggest redesign that happened on Alexa recently is the ability to chart multiple domains in one chart...which was originally seen on Alexaholic. That was the main reason people went their originally, the ability to compare multiple domains at one time.
RFID may not be "built out" yet, but it is already a big part of some of the big boys, like WalMart. They've spent a fair chunk of change developing their system around RFID. They are not going to switch in midstream to something new. It would cost too much. And now that WalMart and other big beasts of the supply chain have some RFID in place, guess what their suppliers are going to be forced to work with.
Iwon is still alive and kicking. Just waiting for somebody to buy them up.
I don't use MSN search, but I've noticed that most of the people that reach my blog from a search engine are coming from MSN. Them seem to index even little ol' me very quickly.
They may make more money per track, but if I'm only buying one track instead of the 12-13 on the album, then they are probably losing some profit on the overall product. I haven't bought a CD in over a year now. I just download the individual songs I want. I use iTunes because I've decided that.99 for a song that I like is a fair price for me. The last whole CD I bought, I downloaded. The only reason I bought the whole CD is it was a present for my wife.
Does fair use allow you to make copies of something you rent so you can time shift when you watch it? If not, then it is really isn't any more tame than any other kind of copyright infringement. I doubt in your contract explicitly gave you permission to copy them.
Glad to help. But I had to stop wearing my tinfoil hat when I RAFA that said that wearing hats causes premature baldness. I have enough problems without needing to worry about that, too.
Now if we can just get them to start biting humans we'll be one step closer to the dreaded human-animal hybrids. But, it seems like bugs are smarter than humans. They realized the cockroaches will be around a lot longer than us humans, so why waste their time with us.
I was going to RTFA but then realized that zdnet is probably working in association with the government to gather information about people that would be interested in this article. And I'm not going to fall for it.
Bush is just afraid if we get used to the human hybrids we'll start demanding the car hybrids and take money away from the oil companies. Now I bet if they were proposing creating humans that run on gasoline, his response would be very different.

I just put sticky notes over very top and the very right side of the monitor. That covers most ads.
What a great way to see exactly how long a zombie infestation will take to spread through a closed environment.
Instead of the roof, just hang them from the clothes line and run a wire to the house.
They should probably switch to outdoor shutters instead of inside curtains.

that tells you how to increase your skepticism.
DRM saves me so much money by telling me exactly which products I am not going to buy. It's a great system.
So what you're saying is that no Gnus is good Gnus?

You would need at least 1000 words to describe this properly.

So far just one Palm, the Treo700W, runs on Windows CE. But, I would imagine more are on the way.

Don't worry. The data is good. The respondants were all members of the RIAA.
