With HTML5 on mobile you will quickly hit a performance wall on anything advanced and interactive. It will always be like this for the simple reason Steve Jobs wanted everyone to drink the Koolaid and come into his walled garden with native apps. Flash on mobile would have held the door open to web-delivery of very advanced apps (using frameworks like Flex), but the dark forces undermined that ever happening. The Apple (and Android) App Store are commercial empires being built on the blood and sweat of the slave race or programmers. I bet the iPhone 5 still can't run anything HTML5 heavy in it's native browser.
The new kid on the block is way faster..
G-WAN has more bang for zero bucks..
Don't believe me..go benchmark the latest build against nginx or apache..
johnny!!!
..pussie scientists!
As a species we should go full-out on these kinds of developments. This sort of rhetoric is akin to the contractor doing the Jedi-mind-fuck on you to spend 50 grand on a new washroom. Somebody is trying to get everyone in on there own self-interest here. Bring it on I say, oh wait!!! If I/you had to fight real cybernetic organisms in real life then movie and game sales would drop off steeply. I guess as a race, we would rather have some certain elite rule over us all, then rather fight hard/work hard for any future where man is unshakled and realizing his potential as an intelligent species.
Put these dudes up against the wall, bang, and then get back to work. Just use a bit more thorough unit testing of your AI code!
!@#$ who managed you bunch of babies before I got here?

I have an original XBox Cystal Edition. It died, and I called MS repair. When I was about to complete the process, I told them that I had the Crystal Edition, and asked if the 'refirbished' unit they would send out to me would also be the same model..NOP! Everybody gets a nice black XBox. I wonder if I have a 360 Elite or Halo Edition needing repair (like that might ever happen), would I get the same back or some basic model. It's a big money sucking machine that everyday I feel less inclined to support.
Not only do we get more terrorists coming to Canada (check out the CSIS reports), but now they will dilute the IT wages further. These immigrants will be poor migrant dataworkers (worst than tomatoe picking Mexicans) in a decade and North America will be screwed. I can see the day when the best software comes from a country like Germany, just like their cars. Damn blockheads, I starting to see their way of thinking maybe is the best way!
Do you want Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad microcode bugs or do you want AMD Quad Barcelona (maybe with less or no bugs)! This chipwar is making me hold-off PC/Workstation purchases solely on this issue.
Silly humans, can't you see that DNA is a very sophisticated piece of machinery! Well it is. And once you get a handle on DNA, you'll have a fairly good grasp of the universe and be able to leave your monkey brothers behind.
PLANET FULL OF IDIOTS..There, I said it, and it felt really good!
How frickin difficult is it to accept a chunk of data, validate it, and insert it into a database? I bet the guru who pulled off this blunder is f!@#ed for life now!
NEO: So you're Trinity, the one that f!@#ed up the CRA database?
TRINITY: Would you like poutine with your back-bacon sandwich?
Has anyone encountered a modern-day PC motherboard with a well identified JTAG port? Many of the high end servers have these readily available, but I have not found one recently on motherboards (clearly identified).
..your GPU (ATI or nVidia) to bruteforce search the keyspace. Just the other day, I read this article somewhere where AMD was demoing a teraflop PC. You could generate keys for family and friends and give them out as stocking stuffers for Christmas. I think MS should seriously consider dropping the retail/OEM price to some trivial cost point so nobody pirates Vista (or Office). God forbid somebody brute forces Ubuntu activation keys and the herd moves in that direction.
..they are going after the X-Prize, and space tourism. Hell, if they were not throwing around all this nuke-business, Iran would appear as a sophisticated nation without military objectives. We geeks would be impressed by their drive for space and medicine et al. All this nuke/missile (my dick bigger than your dick) is a waste of human effort. We are such a !@#$ing pathetic species (still).
We Canadians are nuclear-capable, and we're getting filthy rich selling you oil & water. We won't have to take this shit for much longer because we are headed to become the next super-power. Payback is going to be a bitch!
Use the windpower to chill the carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and save the planet. Dump (inject) the 'dry-ice' into deep lakes and even the ocean. Can I have my 25 million dollars now so I can go buy myself a big-ass SUV and play gangster/pimp/hacker/pornstar/politician/monk.
I think the future lies in a Java fusion with Flex. I think Adobe would be wise to jump on the Java OSS bandwagen and bind the jvm into the flash plugin. Flex/Apollo apps could then use AS3 or Java as the requirements deemed necessary. This would definitely be a hyperjump to Web 3.0 since all you would need is a single plugin or maybe even a highly tuned version of Firefox..OOPS I think I said too much! Was that a chair hitting the wall..again!
Just because some 'software player' has been compromised and will get revoked, there are a few hardware models out there that also have 'weak' firmware and a JTAG port to jack into. I just wish this hacking business would get me some hotter lookin' chicks like in the movies..the ones we can decrypt now..and forever!
..Google is doing evil in some respects, but I think they are doing alot more good in a more holistic fashion. Think of these rural datacenters as spreading the technological wealth across the country and away from high-priced pockets like major city centers. They are bridging the great divide of the haves and haves-not. Just like building an autoplant in some rural area, the offshoot businesses and infrastructure are what builds a strong, vibrant nation and economy. Think of a utopian future where we can be a part-time organic farmer, a SaaS entrepreneur, raise our family with the values that built this great country on the farms of our grandfathers, and drive around in hydrogen-powered eco cars. Google is run by smarts guys, they are futurists that can see where to go.
I'll bet your left nut that each email had a unique hash at the very bottom of his signature. And off course the font colour was white!
It's what I would do to pinpoint a 'leaker'.
Luv Johnny
p.s. I'm available for 'Wet-Work' wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

It's ADA..I'll let you figure out which compiler exactly ;)
j.
It's free as in beer..
Open-source is so yesterday and so corporately tainted..

p.s. being a fanboy ain't cool anymore..being unique will get you the chics these days (in your case it will be an inflatable one).

What a bunch of dumb asses..it's really a USB drive disguised as a drone..
WTF would you people do without me around?

..a Beowolf Cluster of these!
..just make a fairly huge carbon-nanotube net and anchor it with two or so dead satelites and scoop up a pile of crap and then de-orbit the lump?

Begun, the holy wars have!
