    In Metro Detroit I have Comcast, WOW, and ATT Uverse. Comcast is easily 50 dollars cheaper than Uverse and for the package level I am at, Comcast is cheaper than WOW, not to mention the better onDemand and Internet Media.

    shoot... Comcast doesn't even nickel and dime you on their products either. I did an analysis of Comcast and WOW for my service level, ignoring the Fancast goodness, I get way less with WOW than I do with Comcast for the money I spend.

    Wow puts their hand out for every freaking little thing... HD channels, they cost 2 bucks more for a DVD, they charge 2 bucks more for a cable card, they actually charge for the tv listings, etc. yeah... Comcast might be doing the same thing but if they are they are hiding it in some weird charge that does not amount to very much and it still comes in 30 dollars less than WOW.

    you do realize that sometimes adapting and surviving might include the fall of modern society and a return to agrarian, low power, mechanization through brute force life of the 17th century, right? are you able to survive like that? I be 99% of the western culture is not and will die.

    if the computer does a simulation on a known structure, then you can compare its accuracy to that of the known experimental results.

    Schwarzenegger has an after market conversion hybrid for his Hummer. It uses a jet turbine to fill the battery. I recall reading the article in 2006 or 2007 in MIT Tech Review.

    I have been reading OS News since its early days and it has been a constant performer for geek tech news and discussion... my problem with it in recent years is that stories on it will be on the front page for over a week sometimes and the volume of commenting has slowed down so much, it is difficult to get into a good discussion.

    but now with Digg 4, you can curate your news feed by only looking at posts from people you trust. so in Digg 4 it is possible to make a nostalgic slashdot type news feed by following the right people.

    A record does not equate to a single individual. They are tracking movements so in the movement table, I am sure they have a lot of records for each person they are tracking, not to mention the other tables that contain multiple entries for people

    You obviously have no idea what Eugenics is.

    1) Sterilize undesirables,
    2)pair people who have "quality" genetic traits
    3) force abortions on women who are pregnant with a fetus that is deformed or shown medically to carry undesirable traits.

    Considering the pro-choice movement is about letting the woman decide to abort or not, Abortion rights has no more in common with Eugenics than genetic testing by choice. both are medical procedures that a Eugenics policy may use, but both have valid uses in respectable medicine.

    Except it isn't a baby, it has no rights before the first trimester and after the first trimester its rights are very limited. Saying something is something that it isn't does not make it so.

    So, admit that you are trying to couch your fascist religious ideals as some sort of freedom fight for tissue so you do not come off looking foolish.
