    I'm not kidding. I use PCs exclusivly, but since I put my parents and brother on Macs, I haven't gotten a single call about a system problem.... the only calls I get now are "how-do-I" calls and those I can handle over the phone, or I remote in and show them.

    Yeah... I think you are since you don't seem capable of arguing the point I was making about your stupid fucking comment.

    I think the bill is a steaming pile of shit because of the amount of money it gives away to the corpratocracy while not reducing the costs. It is good that almost all people will be covered through this legislation so our health care industry does not implode, but everything about this bill sucks ass because it does not get us close to single payer.

    They should have left the Kusinich Amendment in the bill and then it would have had a chance to lead to good outcomes.

    typical think of the American population. Planning to protect ourselves from illness is considered bad. Use of our public health system to deploy this planning is considered totalitarian... but waiting until you are sick... or very sick before seeking treatment? that is great work.

    No wonder we spend 2x or more the amount per capita on healthcare than anyone else.

    If you are claiming that because we do not know those three things about the flu (something I would contest the accuracy of) that somehow we can not immunize ourselves against 3-4 strains that we choose at time of manufacture, I think you better check your facts about vaccination.

    Because the Zune ecosystem is completely supplanting all Windows Media going forward.

    Finally... MS is vertically integrating its products.

    WMC, XBox 360, WinMo, Windows OS will all be running Zune software and in the case of WinMo... the Zune UI. With this kind of integration and the Zune pass, if they can expand ZunePass to include all you can eat TV and integrate that UI into WMC, they can take on cable and offer infinitely more flexibility.

    yes, but you don't need a dedicated server to use mods. We use mods through peering just fine.

    Last I checked, L4D has no dedicated servers. I can play mods all I want.

    What they need is a peering system that lets mods be uploaded to game players who don't have the map/mod.

    the android phones have a full on browser with a desktop experience. I can even log into my works outlook web access through our juniper box on it. I am waiting to see if I can use juniper terminal services with it... it would be awkward but it would be cool.

    BTW... what defines a market leader is the company that everyone looks to to beat or the company that everyone looks to for the trendy new blah blah blah.

    Apple is a leader in the market. If you define market leader to be the company that sells the most, then there are a lot of markets who's leader is a generic brand.
