    I lived in Israel from 1973 to 2000, 7 of those years I spent in the IDF (mandatory + standing army) and then did reserve service (as Captain) before emigrating.
    I have experienced the hatred of people that would bomb a school-bus just to make headlines and I still find your attitude toward torture despicable.

    Over and over governments have fallen and change has been driven when secrets become known.

    It doesn't work in a "democratic" 2-party, first-past-the-post system where both parties are beholden to the same interests and implement similar policies.
    The illusion that change can be brought by voting keeps the populace from revolting and nothing ever changes for the better.

    I suspect it is by design.

    It works much better if the commenters include the pertinent links in their posts. After all, they already (claim to) have the info.

    And that's exactly why I support it. Fully. Without any reservations whatsoever.

    And that's why I wish that someday (hopefully soon) your children will be taken by someone who would demand they tell him where you keep your plans to blow a dirty nuke in Washington DC, then proceed to waterboard them, twice a day, until he gets the information.

    They same way you do now.

    Meaning that you practically can't, unless the employer was extremely careless and stupid.

    Tracking doesn't change this.
    If your employer doesn't like you, they figure out how to fire you.

    Tracking gives them a tool to profile you.
    Without such tracking they would have to either stalk you (criminal) or ask you (see careless/stupid above).

    If firing you for a particular reason is illegal, the employer has no right to that information.

    An object A moves at 0.9c relative to point X, in a given direction.
    An object B moves at 0.9c relative to point X, in the opposite direction.
    What is the velocity of A relative to B?

    If the answer is less than c, consider the following:

    What would be the distance between A and X after 1 second? After 2 seconds?
    What would be the distance between B and X after 1 second? After 2 seconds?
    What would be the distance between A and B after 1 second? After 2 seconds?

    Can anyone point me to a good explanation?

    In my experience, pdf.js renders all but the most basic documents badly and slowly, to the point of making the browser unresponsive with large documents on older HW.

    I therefore move that judge Winmill's penis should be removed and put in escrow until it is determined that it poses no danger to society, whereupon it shall be returned to judge Winmill in the same condition as it was taken.

    Nothing is ironclad in a system where justice is influenced by the amount of money one can throw at the problem.

    Personally, I'd find against Blizzard in the original case.
