Chronic heartburn from coffee? disproven. If you get stomach problems, that's either because of your stomach or due to poor quality coffee. Cheaper coffee has mainly robusta-beans. Bad, high acidic content. 'mild' roasting leaves most of the alkaloids in the coffee. The usual way of preparation (filtering) brings the maximum of alkaloids in the cup. My advice: use good quality coffee, drink espresso and enjoy it. You can't sleep then? The effect of coffeine is longer if you use milk. I have 10+ cups of coffee a day and neither stomach nor sleeping problems. As for the teeth: try a toothbrush twice a day ;-)

Certainly it will, but unfortunately not all features of Microsoft Word are supported by OpenOffice.

Well, I largely agree. Working too long is a waste as productivity goes down dramatically. For sports: For quite a while 'lazy sports' kept me up.
    - take the bike instead of the car whenever possible
    - take the stair, not the elevator.
    - take a walk instead of the bike
    - shop small portions dayly instead of doing it all at the weekend
    - get yourself wristbands of - say, 1 pound and clean your windows. Yes, that screen with the fantastic resolution there at the wall is a window!
    - walk a bit faster than easy and keep your back straight.
Saying "I don't have the time" is rubbish. First, it means that you are mind-locked. If you have a problem to solve and you're stuck, dont stare at the screen. Step out of the situation and take a walk. Really helps. If you come home tired, throw away your TV. You'll be surprised how much more you relax if you don't watch tv and how much more time you have.

Same idea: Use comments. Use them excessively. Start the single files with a description of what your idea in writing it was. When it comes to legalese: Put it unter a bsd-license, so you can use it at work as well. For storing: Put it in your own toolbox and keep using the toolbox. You won't loose the files you keep working with.
