My Father's laptop got stung by this (i think)
I tracked down two values in the registry for disabling AV and firewall.
Now it's fckucked and the cpu is at 100%.
Yum.
I have a sony/ericsson k750i at the moment (handed down) which is an amazing phone. I've been exploring inside the FS and found that it stores things all over the place (phone mem/flash). It's amazingly counter-intuitive but thanks to this I received some sweet (although NN) pics of my best friend's girlfrend pole-dancing.
Forgot to mention this was in Andorra and I specifically asked for something with codeine as I had the crazy idea of cauterising the nerve. Thankfully I managed to get some broad-spectrum antibiotics and they sorted me out eventually.
i thought it was impossible to get "high" on paracetamol but 2 years agoI was snowboarding and I cracked a filling. The pain became so bad that I was bedridden and I was also unable to get anything stronger than paracetamol as there were no doctors until Thursday (this was monday).
I know full well the dangers of paracetamol but I was so delerious i just kept munching them and eventually i lost consciousness from either the drugs or the pain.
The moral of the story is: paracetamol is really bad. If i can have a non-addictive painkiller then yes please.
Oh yeah, God bless the UK NHS, you may be bloated with middle management but you're still great.
Exactly. When I was teaching a Chinese girl this time last year as part of my TESOL course I couldn't help but ask those questions. She said that most people she met in the uk had asked her about the firewall and censorship. She told me that most people she knew didn't really notice or care, even her father who teaches at a university.
Make of that what you will.
I'm not sure what to make of it.
I totally agree. Both my father and mother work in hospitals. In one 10 year stretch i remember my father taking 1 day off work because he was too ill, same with my mother. Their (and therefore my) constant exposure to bacteria and viruses has given them an amazing immune system able to fight off most common infections without even raising a fever. A recent article in New Scientist told us that children raised on farms suffer the lowest incidence of asthma and other allergies. I was brought up in the countryside and although I was allergic to pollen as a pre-teen, I eventually grew out of it.
Isn't it that posh English bird from AbFab who does the AOL voice-clips?

Shit, I've got Teva sandals, a neckbeard and a hawaiian shirt. I never knew linux was like this. "not like this.... not like this"
Freecycle is awesome, not only does it appeal to my pack-rat mentality but i'm also helping keep stuff out of landfill.

Exactly. Anyone remember Space: Above and Beyond?
