The real concern here was the ambiguity of the telecommunications traffic...
The way the bill was framed was an internet bill against kiddie porn, but the lack of clear and concise definitions of what consitutes telecommunications traffic would have effectively handed them a golden key to all your electronic communication.
Not only would they be able to pursue and monitor my trolling, but also my prank calls... Bastards
I was sitting at an meeting for IS with a large corporation and finally figured out what IS is to the company.
IS is a child, they should never be heard or seen.
They are not included in what grown-ups do.
The only time they are noticed is when something is broken.
In theory that is right, our job is to make sure that IS is not noticed. Providing seamless connectivity and services so that the footprint we leave behind is minimal.
What I don't think that most major corporations understand is unless IS becomes a stakeholder in all activity then IS will be unable to do its job. I need to see forecasts for manpower, planning is critical to my being able to perform my job.
I want to be proactive, but unless I get an idea of the what is coming up (it amazes me how few people actually have plans) I cannot provide the services they desire within the time frame (i want it, and I wanted it yesterday)
How am I supposed to develop a crush on my teacher?

If only I could delay blowing my load as long as they have managed to delay this conference.
If only...
I knew my DNA had to be a pyramid.
It is more in line with my shape, gets wider the farther you go down!
