Lol you like Will Wrights crap.

"So this is my new game, Pee. Basically I'm going to pee on every one of you, and you're going to love every second of it. That's my design."

"And you decide what you want to do with the pee. We're not telling you how to enjoy it. I leave that up to you guys. You're going to create your own unique experiences with my pee."

"You're all going to do something different. Maybe I'll get some pee in your hair. How will you react to that? This guy, he might get some pee in his eye. That's completely different from pee in your hair, and that's exciting to me as a game designer."

The reason it has recently got higher attention is that it is in a prime spot on [adultswim] (adultswim.com) and there is a growing fanbase for this late night Cartoon Network program.

But honestly, it's not that good of a show. Compared to the Simpsons, it doesn't come close. Against Family Guy, it pales in comparison. And the other shows for that age range are Aquateen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken, which are much more interesting than Futurama.

I don't think the time should be wasted on this show, when it could be better spent elsewhere.

    a) You don't really know me that well, so telling me I need an escape because "I clearly need it" is really a statement based on no information. You can just read the forum responses to confirm that.

I don't know. I would build model boats because it's interesting. It's the same reason I play guitar, because it's easy to pick up and fun. And I do it after I have done my 18 hours of work that day, so it's not procrastination or putting off of responsibility. I enjoy it. Just like I enjoy gaming. Not because of some psychobabble "I am hiding from life by having a hobby". Not that you are saying that, but this article is.

I don't play games to escape anything. It's like saying "You build model boats to escape from society". That's utter bullshit. Hell, I'll go to a local computer gaming place to kick the crap out of all the people there in Counter Strike as a social interaction.

Next time someone wants to tell me why I'm playing video games, tell it to my face.

First you have to assume that the products we receive now are of high quality. I personally don't use anything NEC branded in my machines. I have used Toshiba and have not found it to be the best. "Made in China/Japan" is already a phrase with a bad connotation (IMHO, I could be wrong). How much worse will it be if they are the only suppliers? The only way to gain profits then is: a) increase prices and b) decrease quality of product.

These large media corporations would realize that DRM isn't the solution to illegal downloading of songs, they would be much better off.

How about, instead, they reduce the cost of a standard, new CD to ten bucks? Or thereabouts. I would rather drop 10 dollars on a new CD, which is burned at high quality with all the songs of the album on it, then download all the songs, and burn them myself, most likely at a lower quality because I can't find the right bittorrent file.

How do you get to be the CEO of a large corporation if you're stupid?

Having grown up with technology, it seems a natural order of life. I enjoy it. I use 3 different e-mail addresses, AIM, my cell phone, texting, Myspace and so on. I have about 7 ways to contact a single person, but it's convenient and it doesn't bother me. Maybe in 30 years when everyone is connected directly to the back of my brain I will reminisce about when we used to use cell phones and PDAs.
