However, if you look at the Droid X wikipedia page linked to from there, you'll see the original mobilecrunch.com is what is cited for the eFUSE inclusion bit.
I'm not saying there is something fishy going on, but this could easily not be true.

The Microsoft mentality is oriented towards the corporate world. These kinds of customers require product roadmaps to plan budgets, purchasing decisions, upgrade paths, etc etc. The Apple mentality, however, is oriented towards the consumer. Consumers don't tend to plan all that well and will buy things compulsively, so new products have to be available to ship as soon as they are announced.
In any case, one of the reasons why MS seems to falter in the consumer device market, or at least when competing with Apple, is that they still seem to announce things as part of a corporate roadmap, rather than impressing people with an Apple-like 'one more thing' reveal.
That certainly helps with the Slurpee sales, but it's not at all uncommon to see people walking around with a "Big Gulp" in the middle of winter - it ends up being almost a machismo thing to head to 7/11 on the coldest days of the year just you can walk around in -40 weather (-50 with the windchill), drinking slushies.

Seriously, in my dream alternate universe, Nintendo didn't make the Wii (I do like the DS though) and instead we had Mario and Zelda for Xbox/PS3. Of course, they make a ton of money on the Wii, so that's not happening anytime soon.
I'll admit, I do want an XBox 360, and while it's nice the power supply, wifi, and HDD are all now internal, what I am waiting on is blu-ray. I want it more as a media extender/STB more than anything else, primarily for Hulu and Netflix, and possibly for Rockband 3 once the "real" keyboard comes out.
You want it primarily for Hulu and Netflix, but Blu-ray is a deal breaker? I actually don't really blame them for not having it. The direction is clearly heading more into streaming for media - despite having a ps3 (and a 360), I don't own and have never rented a Blu-ray disc, and don't see that changing anytime soon.

Probably because there isn't any reason to do so - it's implicit in that the AHA encourages physical activity. Is someone going to see the AHA logo on a football and suddenly realize that it might be healthy to play sports? Doubtful.
Plus, there is the differentiation factor. Is there any reason why the AHA would hypothetically endorse one brand of sporting equipment over another? No, they are essentially all the same from their perspective. The value of attaching the logo to the Wii is that it might cause parents to choose that one over the others available because it's the healthiest choice available i.e. in this case it does matter what they put their weight behind.
So, your advice is to be a quiet, passive-aggressive loner that keeps themselves apart from the group? Please do your coworkers a favor and quit now.
Seriously, though, the cynical answer is always that you aren't at work to make friends, but in my experience work is so much better when your coworkers are indeed friends. I worked several years in tech support while in university and the only thing that made it bearable was the people I worked with. Obviously, you can go too far - you don't want to spend all day talking to people and not get your job done - but the idea that you shouldn't be friendly since you're at work is absurd.
Because when you do that, the current never stops being current. Apple have a habit of forcing old, useless techs out the door... They did it with floppies, they did it with parallel ports, they did it with PS/2 connectors, and now they're doing it with flash.
My motherboard still has a PS/2 connector, but it's not like you can buy PS/2 keyboards anymore. You can push future technology and still not be a douche to everyone using the old stuff.
You keep saying it's not hardware abstraction, and then go on to say how cloud computing abstracts the hardware. Whatever, dude; you clearly get a kick out of lecturing people and talking down to them - I'm glad I don't actually have to work with you in real life.
