FF frequently dies on Mac OSX Tiger. Usually during the middle of a blog post, when I switch away from the Window I have been using, say, to look up a suitable image to addorn my blog, that when I return, having uploaded my image to an image hosting service, I can't type in the text box. This happens so often that I prefer to use another browser such as Netscape 7.2 or even Safari. It doesn't matter what version of FF I use either.
OT. Has anyone had experience using Camino, good or bad?

When is Windows Vista supposed to emerge from Redmond? I have been signed up on their "we'll let you know list" for a while and nothing much has appeared.
OT. If it is RTM by July, maybe they will force OEMs to put sufficient Ram on their PC solutions, unlike the measly 128mb supplied on early machines with XP or 32mb with Windows ME.
I would happily upgrade if MS weren't overcharging. I guess also that it is goodbye to Home and Pro flavors too. A Vista for all.
..unless a tech engineer on site at a customer needed to prove to them that the hp drivers are _not_ required for the customer's ageing hp 660c when plugged into the desktop running a copy of xp their neighbor installed for them from a limewire d/l...
seriously tho, there may be occasions when backward compatibility is a must, viz trying to get essential backup data off an elderly Ditto drive.
Apple has three varieties of Mac Mini at $499, $599 and $699. The top end has a superdrive and 512mb ram. There is NO mic, no monitor, no keyboard and no mouse. Buying the absolute minimum of keyboard, mouse and a display (not Apple - an Apple display will cost at least $900 last time I looked) is going to add another $350.
I am still trying to figure out why for a first purchase the Mac Mini makes sense?
Kids sometimes fail to see the difference between reality and fiction. I shudder at the number of WAR type video games and the relentless drive for military enrollment.
Thanks for the tip. I'll check out the latest version.
