Nope. The software is proprietary. Whatever the EULA says, you are completely subject to Adobe's whim, for all the usual reasons associated with using non-free software.
No. It's not really an open license at all. For one thing it forbids commercial use. And it's limited to the UK! In my eyes this constitutes an abuse of the word "open".
The only thing that's been putting me off buying a powerbook is that I've heard the caps lock key is mechanical, and therefore impossible to remap (to ctrl).
