Oddly enough, Avant Browser just released a new, and drastically improved, version of their IE shell. I've always been a huge fan of Avant for being what IE never was.
It's nice to see the internet being used for what it's really capable of. Why should we use something that truly has the power to connect the world, and shelter ourselves behind the same invisible lines we call borders in cyberspace? I've been waiting so long for more things like this to come about. How much knowledge about culture and experiences are lying in wait out there? It's always seemed foolish to me for a tool as powerful as the internet to be restricted to each individuals language, something we clearly have the capability of overcoming with technology.
As far as I'm concerned, we're all still sitting around our unfinished tower of Babel.
I had this virus on my desktop spamming it's false alerts since as early as last week. After I fonud the proper guides on how to remove it, and an arguous 5 hour sessions of reboots, safe mode runs, virus scans from 5 different programs, and constant tweaking and adjusting, I finally removed the virus on my own.
