Unfortunately, most universities have taken it upon themselves to instead Authenticate and grant Credentials to 'the leaders of tomorrow.' They issue the sheepskins and certificates that open doors.
A bunch of people scramble to get said credentials and attendant rubber stamp authorization.
One of the subjective measures that are used is the cultural diversity that the student will bring to campus.
We should just shut down Harvard and spread around some of those resources a bit more widely. Obviously Harvard is a corrupt institution and even though the people who work there now aren't the same people as those who worked there 100 years ago, we can run with the theories being espoused by Affirmative Action advocates in another direction. Why should only 'privileged' students suffer? Why not 'privileged' faculty, and even privileged' institutions. Turn Harvard into a Junior College.
Well, slavery went on for much longer than 180 years, and it still goes on today. So Affirmative Action clearly needs to go on indefinitely, as long as it suits the intellectual elite in charge to have it in place.
That's kind of a misnomer, though. Probably a huge percentage of the Virtual Boys on the collector market right now are 'taken out of the box only a few times' examples. Still, one that is unopened is always a rarity.
The problem with that is Yahtzee is a fun game to play. And you just need five dice, a pad of paper, and a pencil.
Fun games 'build up' from there, and there are a lot of fun games with rather extensive 'resources' required to play them, but 'gee whiz' game developers need stuff to throw out in front of the pack of gamers to keep them from noticing there isn't an actual game in there.
The problem I have with Steam is the lack of full disclosure.
I have bought a number of shrink-wrapped box games that didn't disclose anywhere on the package in a font size I could actually read in the store that they required 'A Steam Account' to load and play the game.
It's really a waste of hatred to bestow it on 'pop music.'
I'm not being a snob in saying this. There is good music of just about every genre and type.
I like Terry Riley, though I can barely afford good enough sound equipment to play a recording of 'The Harp of New Albion' which is just acoustic piano.
But I like some of the Sex Pistols, as long as it's in the original Mono. Preferably on a cassette player from a thrift shop.
It's really complex matter, music. Most forms of nearly pure mathematics expressed through physics is like that.
Correction: sideload the Amazon App Store.

Uh, yeah. Right. Turn up that ghetto blaster.

Why are you spelling Kennedy so funny?

"I've been working on the railroad,
All the live long day.
I've been working on the railroad,
Since they took my truck away."
I sing this song to myself sometimes when trying to navigate through the trucks on the Interstate on the way to and from work.
Is Amazon doing any of these obnoxious things?
Because it wouldn't be hard for me to reset my Android phone, sideload the Android app store, and never log into google with my phone again.
Tux Racer is awesome on an Oculus Rift. Ask anybody in the Red Hat test labs.
I wouldn't pay 50 cents for one new.
The new-in-the-box price is about $1000 on eBay.

Can you elaborate on why this is fucked up and why valve's sounds better?
Marc's body odor problem.
The Kickstarter was for the DK1, which was shipped.
Traditionally, Kickstarters pay their money for the long haul, because they want a project to go. Not just for the swag.
There are Parametric 3D CAD programs for OSX. There seems to be schematic capture as well.
There are several of each!
SmithMicro probably still sells TurboCad! for Mac. Right? Right??
Yeah, we know you guys have all got Ashlar Vellum.
Take out your Altivec unit and twirl it!
Happy Smiley DRM is still DRM. The Infrastructure is in place and proven and operating for whomever comes along next to run the company.

Why would I buy a Mac Pro just to install NetBSD (UNIX) on it?
I also have a nail clipper, in addition to keys.
GM has shut down Holden. But as a consolation, you'll be allowed to buy the Corvette in oz now.
I remember that I liked 'Star Wars.' Not enough to see any of the sequels, tho. I have a faint memory of enjoying it in the theater in 1977.
Google doesn't have a right to be forgotten, any more than Microsoft, or IBM, or AT&T, or Standard Oil did before them.
But is it a piebald cat, and are the tabby areas grey or orange?

You misspelled affliction.
If you can't get high without LSD you have no business partaking.
This is not an anti-drug statement. But it's sad how many people view hallucinogens at a way to 'get messed up.'
Sinatra didn't have the class to die young like Sid did, though.
