That said, I bought a new watch recently. I had four criteria: - Maintenance free - electronic but no need for battery replacement (mechanical watches need an oil change every few years) - Radio controlled, receiving all three standards (OK that kind of includes the one above) - Titanium case - at least moderately waterproof. That whittled it down to a manageable set and when I saw a Citizen Nighthawk on sale I hit it.
I think you missed the point where the 8150 beats the 2600k when you're using the right software, at half the price. Yes, with single threaded code or code (especially benchmarks) compiled with Intel compilers, Intel CPUs are faster.
With the proper software (e.g. Flashcache) you can run a write back cache on your SSD so as long as your file working set is smaller than the SSD everything will be cached.
That's one way, except that it causes cancer. Going out for a run would be a better alternative. Once it feels like you're going to tar the trail with your lungs you don't want a cigarette any more. And the nicotine addiction goes away after a while - as opposed to your sex drive.
That's clearly another Windows feature - opening up the market to sell unnecessary software to suckers. And let's not forget its capability as a host for bots.
When I complained to my eye doc that I'm needing new glasses more often, he told me "you're growing up!" Ha ha. That fine print on PCBs and components is almost impossible to read. Head-mounted binocular magnifying glasses FTW.
Hmm, can I have a silver chain for my phone?

Hmm, I only drink around 12 cups per day so I'll have to improve that.
Speak for yourself- so far, I'm immortal.
The risk of death decreased by 10% at three cups per day so drink 30 per day and you'll be really immortal.

There's a very simple solution: Don't buy a device that has a locked-down bootloader that hasn't been cracked yet.

Agree. However AMD supports ECC on almost all CPUs.
+1, pwnage of whoever modded this up.
Sigh.
Too bad Hyper was already taken.
At least the voltage is proportional to power and energy...
Fail.
P=V^2/R.
E=P*T=V^2*T/R.
Mmmm, 4 way DDR4 - I'd buy a new motherboard for that.
That's why there is ECC.
Why anybody runs without it is beyond me.
With EDAC I see occasional ECC errors on many systems.
You can have them but only with Tritium, which wears out within a couple years, not anything more potent.
Don't forget that a CPU with HD4000 graphics is in a different price class, at least $100 more.
Well it seems to work in Greece.
Just wait until more UAVs are in use. Propellers make good weapons.
And everything that increases the size of something is first marketed for... you've seen it.

Meh. I though this is a tech site.
What about metal gate, silicon gate, high-k gate?
everyone still knows what $ means.
Yes! $ is the sigil for scalars. It is also used for strings in BASIC.
Easy. Wrenches are used to break things.
Encryption for example.
