I find it humorous that there is such a push for budget cards using a fairly new interface. Where are the AGP versions of these cards? You know, for people who really are on a budget and can't afford to buy a new motherboard to use with a new budget card...
I don't know about you, but every morning I make a recording of myself reading the articles from the newspaper. I then convert these to mp3s and load them up on my iPod. This allows me to listen to the news for the day on my way to work.
Oh, i know that the PATRIOT ACT was fully prepared and waiting for a 'convenient' opportunity to present it. Maybe they should've had some other legislation in line, too. Unless they were certain that it wouldn't get passed...
Then they should prepare some legislation detailing how to deal with it. Instead they've chosen to ignore any and all rules that were in place. And before you say, "But it would take them too long to prepare new legislation," remember how quickly they put the PATRIOT ACT together...
If you're going to ask us to work through the correct channels here, then can we at least require the rest of the government to operate via the correct channels, too? That's the main problem people have here. It's not necessarily the actions that they're taking (though some argue that, too), it's how they're going about doing it.
Guess what, the feds want the judges to approve their snooping and silence anyone daring to oppose it.
The problem is that the judges aren't even being asked to approve it. The Executive branch is just going ahead and doing it because they're afraid the Judicial branch might say "No."
It's also entirely possible that the last reversal 780,000 years ago (not million) created the conditions that allowed apes/mankind evolve into what we are now. The truth is that we really have no idea what the effects of a pole reversal will be or how they will affect the Earth or us.
Well, had the AC up there indicated that Jobs's was correct, I would then have referred him to the AP Style Guide, which says that you should not include the s at the end. The whole point of this exercise is to show that there is no 'correct' way--there are merely preferences depending on which style manual you are using.
Care to explain why Chicago Style (as well as Strunk & White and others) say to do otherwise? I would think that those are far more authoritative than some AC slashdotter who happens to know a few big words.
Well, things were moving along pretty nicely and for a moment it looked like something was actually going to be done. Then in 2001, everything changed for some inexplicable reason...
I take it these weren't the guys who were going to be working on GTA4 for the 360 then. I guess this also partly explains why there was no Rockstar booth at E3.
"You haven't supplied the information you were required to as part of the terms of settlement, so instead of doing something about it, we'll give you more time."
Well, admittedly you gotta admit that the article writer is retarded for saying that they didn't get to play the games, then goes on to describe how they played the games.
Mobius Venture Capital, eh? Suddenly it all makes sense
Anyway, not that I'm an expert or particularly knowledgable about any of this stuff, but it seems to me that a big difference is that this time around, the companies receiving the funding tend to be much smaller and more focused. Sure, many don't have a valid business plan, but at least there are only 10-15 people running the entire show, as opposed to some of the companies last time around that felt they needed to employ a hundred to be taken seriously.

It's the same bullshit video tape of a monkey falling out of a tree...
Hey, the President's press conferences deserve to be broadcast in HD on the net, too.
Huh? I don't remember anything about any memory problems.
Didn't they eventually say that the memory issues were intentional and that it was caching the tabbed pages or something?

Actually, it can go either way. It depends on which style you're following...
Fucking retards... : p
Is it W3C compliant?
Nope. And that's after he hand-tweaked some of the output.
The main effect of this will be that we see even more blogs that use Comic Sans. Oh boy, I can hardly wait!

Title should be 'The Wii Virtual Game Menu Hands-On'
Sooooo..... "When the data was stolen ...something... I pushed for changes in the laws"
'something' = 'and I learned state and federal identity theft laws were a joke'
Anyway, sometimes when I drink coffee I seem to have an entirely opposite reaction and am overcome with sleepiness.
Lay off the Irish coffees there, Sparky.
It's fairly safe to assume that if you're buying coffee at a gas station you're buying it purely for the caffeine.
I've got an easier one. The black handle means 'caffeine.' The orange handle means 'no caffeine.'
No kidding. All those damned yahoos in suits are extortionists...
