Slashdot heavy skewing? WTF? Yeah against Microsoft. Sony is it's own worst enemy and they have even admitted it. I've bought my last Sony product because they like to criple things. In order to download video's off my new mini dvd camcorder I have to use Sony's software. I would prefer to just plug the USB cable in and use windows explorer or adobe to get it. It's things like this that drive away customers.

Screw that! They are on private freaking property. If the owner wants to record them so be it, audio and video. How many times a day are we recorded on public property without knowing? He had signs. Don't want to risk it? Don't go on private property. I don't see why he even has to have it posted. IT'S PRIVATE property...or does that mean nothing today?

Anheuser-Busch does not make beer, they make poorly flavored water!

I make my own home brew and one of the things I do is collect all of my used water and use it for other things, dishes, fill the clothes washer....

It's good to be green and it's impressive to see any brewery take the step to do this.

This is just what we need, the government telling everyone how to do business. It's bad enough the things you have to do to keep them happy, but have them tell me to release my code? I don't think so.

I am a software developer and I will never let my source code be public. There is no reason for it at all. The last thing I need is for my competitors to start using our ideas. While it is good for some software to be open source, that does not apply to all software.

I officially quit supporting 95 systems in late 2004 though our software will run on 95C if need be. My web applications are IE5+ , FF 1.0 +, & Netscap 4.9+. Don't know, Don't care about the rest of the browsers. 95% of our users are IE based anyway.
