  1. More Annoying without Cells in Emergencies on Nanotube Paint Blocks Cell Phones on Demand · · Score: 1

My Wife and I were in the theatre and I had my cell on vibrate. Due to its position in my pocket, I was unable to feel my cell phone ring. Thanks to not having a cell, so to speak, when my son cut his hand bad enough to warrant an emergency room visit, my inlaws had to call the theatre and they had to send an usher in to yell out our names. Surely even a cell phone ring would have been less disruptive then that. I know there was a ton of whispering as people were wondering what could have happened.

They don't have to. The kids won't ever leave the site no matter how shitty it is. It has also been suggested that the site is difficult to use and still remains so to get experienced users comfortable and to keep them tied down to their interface. I've gone through my friends myspace user interface and it is amazingly non-intuitive.

I'm going to have to agree with you on this one. I've never done anything to break the law in view of police officers (aside from speeding :) ) and everytime I've ever been questioned by them they treat me like a criminal even if they're asking me about something someone else has done. It just amazes me how much power they really have.

Its too bad that jumping through the FISA court hoop is required because it is the Law. The president is not above the law, even if he and his cowboy hat like to think so. OMGWTFDSLASDFTTYLAFKSBCIBM-320rf;lfmsdf-04...

I think it is you who isn't getting it. The president needs permission to do this from an independent court because the details of the case need to be checked. They can tell us, like you say, that the calls originate outside the US. But how do we really know that? That's what the FISA Court is for.
