Buy lots of hard drives and build a NAS using RAID 51. Pretty much never have to worry again. Use PAR2 if you want just in case files somehow get corrupted.
It's a way overboard solution, but it's pretty close to bulletproof. Using something like Carbonite or one of the other remote online storage methods mentioned would be much similar without the ridiculous costs a home RAID 51 would incur.

I used to hate Sprint back when I sold phones 10 years ago (I started out with my service being Airtouch, before they conglomerated into Verizon). They had lousy reception, the phones sucked, and they paid lower bonuses for selling phones and signing people up for service.
By comparison, they've really turned stuff around it seems.

Making password management easier for folks without it being a program they have to buy or spend a lot on will go a long way too. Being able to make one really long random strong password and have it applied to all websites would make things easier for the average user. As I noted above, the flaw in this is that not all sites use login fields that Firefox can capture. Imageshack is but one example of such a site.
