Finally.. someone who understands the wonders of Opera.

I love the "copy to note" function -- notes. And "sessions".

The only only feature Opera doesn't have is browser folders that you can put in the toolbar. At least I don't think it has that.

I thought it was eye pleasing mostly because of it's simplicity.. but the tabs being monochromatic seemed like it would be difficult to tell what tab was where if you had a lot of tabs open..

I was impressed but not switching as well. I use Opera and there are some features it has I just don't want to live without. If they could incoperate those I'd be on Google Chrome. The feautres I like most from Opera.. 1. "copy to note" feature. Allows you to right click and copy highlighted text to notes within the browser and they are orgnaized pretty well. It isn't perfect but I use it all the time. 2. "Save sessions" allows you to quickly save all the bookmarks open and name that session. 3. When opening, after closed, allows you to open to the session where you left off. 4. I also didn't like the look of it. Too monochromatic. Kind of disorienting.

  6. Organizing Boomarks is the weak link for me on Mozilla's Thoughts On Google's Chrome · · Score: 1

This is the only element of browsers I have found really lacking.. the ability to organize a large amount of bookmarks and find bookmarks in the sea of bookmarks I have stored. I really hope someone addresses this. Another feature I think could be done more with is NOTES. Opera has a nice note feature but it could be a lot better. I like to copy many of the articles I read and save them as notes. But Opera doesn't have a way to bakc this up very well. I worked out a alternative but it's not great.

The reason.. most people who use PC's don't type all that much either. I don't. Yet I still have a keyboard and I do type from time to time. Being able to touch and draw directly on the screen is as important ot me as typing if not more important. But I am an artist so maybe I'm not the best person to ask.

You're still missing the point.. everyone needs their own monitor anyway. For their own personal computers laptops and countless other appliances that have a monitors and currently get by on a very poor quality ones. Such as CD players, IPODS, VCR's, TIVO's, Your clock radio, your car stereo, your kitchen appliances. Chances are everyone in your house is going to need their own montitor or TV anyway. And for a communal gathering.. if the technology is sophisticated enough you could even possibly set it up so it appears there is one big monitor in one position as everyone views their monitor through their glasses. The monitor would appear to be fixed in the room and the image would move in your glasses as if in one position. This is the holy grail of imaging.. not another big screen TV.

If you could search the information better, like you can search for text on the internet with google, then it would be worthwhile to record everything you say or that is said to you. Voice recognition is so poor that it might be worthwhile to create a new spoken language that can be recognized more clearly. Basically we would speak a computer language. Then this language could be more eaisly searched allowing us to find the info we need. It would be nice to record all the information you read on computer as you are reading it as well.. maybe by sweeping over it with a mouse pointer or soemthing ot that effect. Then we could access every word we have ever read, too. Or every image we have seen on screen.

I just got an Emachine T3410 that says it has anVidia Geforce 6100 PCI express slot available And what I want to do is run 2 monitors on it.. do I have to get a PCI video card? Or can I use an additional AGP card. I also want a tv tuner card.. I am looking for the chapest solution. The best deal I think is to get a PCI video card for about 60 bucks and an additional 40 dollar PCI tuner card at COMPUSA. I would prefer to get a card that combines both things for cheaper than 100 bucks.. but can't find any.
