Actually, the NASA toilet seats are legit. You don't actually think an off the shelf seat from home depot would work in zero-G do you. The NRE costs of things with small production runs make the unit costs very high.
What production? Nearly anything of any worth has been exported to other countries so the executives can make even larger bonuses. If you honestly think we could bring back any of those lost industries in the short amount of time needed, then you would be in for quite a surprise.
Well, not everyone gets off on killing a bunch of foreigners all at once for no legitimate reason. The powers that be at the time, and apparently you do, but the general public is better than that.
And what if alien spacecraft has anal probed everyone who insisted on coming up with lame excuses and even lamer hypothetical situations for the shameful behavior of the thugs you are trying to make excuses for? then you would really be screwed, and you little manhood enhancement would be of no help at all.
So you think your fear entitles you to shoot everyone on sight, just in case. You wouldn't happen to be one of those looser who needs to pack a gun with him everywhere to compensate for his lack of spine, would you?
I believe he is referring to the ability to add a very thin diamond coating to surfaces. this gives you the scratch residence without all of the brittleness issues.
The insurance is on your car in case you hit anyone or anything. Unless you expect people to insure their mailboxes against your incompetence. Please don't try sophomoric word tricks to excuse your undeserved sense of self importance. I don't by such puffery from children so I certainly don't tolerate it from supposed adult wannabe's
Around here you can post a 100,000 bond, but I've never met anyone who actually does that. Normally they just claim as an excuse to avoid paying for insurance and then expect everyone else to pay when they mess up.
Are you actually trying to claim that the homeowner was so dense that he wouldn't know if there was a child left in the building?
Some of these arguments are really getting sophomoric to the extreme. It's really amazing how some people will attempt to justify personal irresponsibility
The only really big question is why you are going to such an extent to try to excuse the guilty party for his actions. He had a choice to pay for fire service. He chose not to and has to live with the results. Just because some people think they are so important that the rules don't apply to them doesn't mean that the rest of us have to sacrifice anything for them. I hope you will figure this out before too long.
Actually, in rural areas like this, the arraignment they have is about as good as you can get. There is no taxing authority in the extreme rural areas, and even if there was, requiring everyone to pay makes little sense, as someone who lives three hours away from a fire station would gain little advantage to having such limited coverage, compared to someone on the outskirts of town.
Are you actually so self important that you think it's some sort of honor and privilege to provide you your services? People do that because you pay. If you don't want to pay, you shouldn't get the services, and should probably move somewhere where you do not leach off of everyone else.
your expectation have no basis in reality. the insurance company may have an issue with the homeowner not paying for protection, but they would not expect a fire department to fight a fire for free.
Sounds like you will have a lot of growing up when you leave your daddies house. Here in the real world, nothing is free, and stupid decisions can often have serious results.
Fortunately, your opinions have no effect on the real world. They would be there to make sure that the fire does not spread to places where the people have paid the fee. If the firefighters were expected to fight fires for free when the owners "forget" to pay, then no one would pay in advance, and the entire arraignment would fall apart.
In short, the guy needs to grow up and realize that he can't expect everyone else to bail him out for his own mistakes.
I personally have more important things to do with my money than to waste it repairing my car because some self important twat runs into it and won't make it right. Your are Damn right that you should be forced to insure your car. If you can't be a respectable part of the community then you can keep you car in the garage for as long as you want, but as soon as you go out with the grownups, you had better be able to follow the rules.
Actually, it's called the real world. If you don't pay to have people fight your fires, then nobody will. Offering to make good on it is not an option. Do you expect your insurance company to pay for your car if you offer to make good on the payments after the fact?
I work with bits instead of carbon goo, but I think there would be a problem if the cells used for gene therapy were to wear out too early. I would imagine that getting the cells to reproduce rapidly in order to use them would take up some of the existing telomers.
I see you know my wife. she used to do this all the time until she managed to total my car. fortunately, no one was hurt (it doesn't take much for the insurance company to total a 15 year old car), but she finally learned to keep the correct distance between her car and others on the road.
By keeping you mean not paying your fair share for the very society that you exploit for your own serf serving gains. Unless you are posting from a place with no government like Somalia, you are nothing but a spoiled four year old in a supposed adults body. why don't you go back to your room while the adults try to fix the mess your incompetence and greed have caused.
I for one dispose of them at the local home depot. It's not like they die all that often, so I just put the junkers in a box in the garage and drop them off whenever I remember, which seems like once a year or so.

That's annoying is that it's hard to tell if they mean the bell or the tower it's in. American's generally don't know the difference.

I doubt even the volunteer firefighters pay for their own equipment.

Do they let you keep the piece of your brain they removed in an iJar?

Which will probably be considered OK because the industry in question provided a few minimum wage jobs and considerable political contributions.
