  1. Re:Mandatory panic! on South Carolina Student Arrested For "Killing Pet Dinosaur" · · Score: 3, Interesting

when I was in 8th grade i had a smaller than kid hand sized, see thru blue water pistol in the last few weeks of school. the principal brought me in, and the cops were there. I wasnt arrested but i was yelled at by both the cops and principal, because "someone might mistake it for a real gun"

my mom and dad are just laughing at them like are you kidding me?? I ended up getting suspended for a day, my dad took me to the shooting range to show me what a real gun was (and made sure the principal and cops knew, and knew i wasnt in any trouble)

all the more reason to end the stupid tax code that we have. I had a theory I put together the other day, im sure im not the first but hear me out

What if we had a 1 penny tax on transactions, any transaction. For example there are 300 million bank transactions in the country a day. thats 30 million in taxes per day, JUST on bank transactions.

add in all the rest, fast food, shopping plazas, and wallstreet with micro/nano transactions

i need to do some more of the math, but if we add up 1 penny to all transactions (regardless of costs/ or items) everyone will be paying their fair share, no more loopholes, and things would be good.

no one pays to use FB or twitter, as such if they change their page for whatever reason, so what? if you dont like it go to myspace or whatever else is around or make a new site

comcast harassing callers, and the new info dropped about their 20% upselling grade for techs is a legit concern when it comes to customer dissatisfaction. I think you are watering down the severity of comcast when you lump in twitter and FB making changes to their pages
